Volks Dollfie Dream Mini discussion part 1

How cute! My ddh-22 is also named Sakura. Actually, she is my daughter's and she named her. So, hello Sakura from Sakura!

 

I decided to revamp one of my old customized DDH-01 heads with a new mouth mod, and although it was a struggle I think she ended up really cute :3

I finally got my hands on my last grail DD,Komaki Manaka! I put her on a mochiashi body and I think its works great. Her name is Megumi

 

I got a Liliru! I didn't like her wig when I saw it online but I actually really like it in person and she might keep it.

 

@kittydorkdork I was looking at getting a Liliru, and was concerned about the wig too. Glad to hear it’s really nice, and Liliru is now definitely at the top of my list. Your girl is so cute!

I was able to buy the Sakuramusubi Miko outfit and the white fox ears/tail for my someday mdd. I’m thinking Liliru would look adorable in it….

 

I also have a liliru! She has such a sweet face and looks so good in dark colored wigs, it really makes her eyes pop!

Hi! I need some help with my mdd's internal frame: Is it possible to fit a newer part (upper torso) on an older model frame? I fear my doll's torso might break soon and I might need to replace it.

I believe most parts of the f3 frame aren't compatible with the MDD3 frame. Your best bet is to try to reinforce cracked parts, see if you can find a junk body for parts or just a full body swap.

I got her head around November but I got really busy. Decided to take her to my friend's house after mayhem ends, borrow their props and...I got a first decent picture of her.



Hope I have more time from now on so I can take her anywhere lol.

btw, this is my first MDD and first 1/4 scales in my house, and I really love the fact that she can go anywhere with just my regular backpack haha.

So I managed to get to Doll Point and got one of the new MDD Integrated Asexual boys. However, I'm having an absolute hell of a time finding sewing patterns for him, so right now he's in a stray DD t-shirt and the boxers he came in (lolsob).

I've taken detailed measurements if anyone has an idea of what other dolls he might be similar to-- it almost seems like he'd wear slim mini boy shirts but maybe regular MDD pants? I have no idea haha. But since it doesn't seem like there are many details to be found on this body online, here's the measurements where they differ from the standard MDD body:

Neck circumference: 7.2cm (.2cm bigger)
Shoulder width: 8cm (.5cm smaller)
Chest circumference: 15cm (.5cm smaller than MDD S bust)

All other measurements are the same as the MDD body.

I haven't owned an MDD before, so I have no comparisons between the standard and Integrated Asexual body. However, I will mention that the torso is one piece-- There is no join between upper and lower torso. This does limit posing slightly, however with as soft as the vinyl is in his torso, it's not a huge deal.

Does anyone know what the measurements are for MDD bust sizes M and L?
I've looked so many places and can only find the 15.5cm measurement for the S bust

 

I measure with clothes on but I got about 16.5 for M and 20.5 for L
