A tentative congrats from me too! I’m in the user group 82_mintRG ;w;. I hope it means I’m finally bringing home a clover! Fingers crossed for everyone waiting for news!

 

I have had a user group tab and it has disappeared now. ;-; That's even worse than simply not winning. Getting all excited to finally see a tab (I have always lost VolksUS lotteries in the past for dolls) and then...poooof.

I have entered for Lilac.

 

I am seeing quite a few on the DD forum saying they lost their tab. I still have mine, but I am not going to get excited until I get an email. The email is the only for sure that you won.

 

Heck yeah! I'm in user group 86_tawny! And for those asking, yes being in a user group means you won. when I enter for Iris last year I didn't win and had no group. For those whose group disappeared it may come back later. We're not suppose to know until the 28th, so they probably "announced" them prematurely, and hid the winners again.

 

I guess I didn't win since there's no notice and the I cannot find that order anymore under my order history...

 

Several of the people that lost them said they are now back, so that is good news!

 

Awww that's too bad, but remember the Japanese lottery will come in a couple weeks. That's how I got my Iris last year.

 

Oh no my user group is blank now. I guess I wait until tomorrow to find out

 

Just got the email confirmation. My user group disappeared like some of the others, so I was a little worried, but it still came through.
Super excited to get Petal this time after winning Clover last time.

I got my email! I am surprised I won because they make such small numbers of them. This is the first time I have won a lottery with them. I have tried before and lost. I am excited to get Serra!

Just got my confirmation e-mail! Got Serra! She'll be my first ever vinyl doll and I'm super excited to see her in person. Congrats to the other winners and I hope there are many more winners soon!

P.S. My user group tab is EMPTY. I hope that gives the others who suddenly saw their user group info disappear some relief.

Congrats everyone! I got my confirmation for clover today, and I’m so happy ;w;. I lost the last two lotteries I entered for her, and that was before she had an RG version. I can’t wait to see her in person, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed for anyone still waiting!!

Pretty strange, cause I've read in description for Clover, that "wigs and eye colors will vary even within the same models", but nothing said about earrings. Needed to say, I completely misunderstand this part of product description , and now just realized, that it is not enough to win the lottery, it is needed to win proper eyes and wig as well, which is practically impossible with 4 items for each of them been random. Now I'm sitting and trying to imaging Clover with whitish wig and yellowish eyes. Volks, way are you doing this with us?

Nevertheless, congrats to all of us have won the lottery, and wish all you get the girls in variation you wish.

I'm super excited to see all the various combinations in September. I'm curious now what mine would be. Ideally with the stunning red hair, silver earing, and blue or green eyes. Chances of that happen is slim to none but I can still hope.

 

I think it's part of the charm of ICONs as it reminds me of gacha capsules. Not sure what we are going to get but it's kind of fun to see what we do end up getting in the end. For those of us that were around when the ICONs were first released, it was a pleasant surprise that they can come with a wide array of combinations for wigs, eyes, head sculpts, face-ups, and so on. Here's the link to when Volks first introduced ICONs as lottery items at a Dolls Party years ago. If you scroll down to where they show the ICON display tables, it shows you how varied the combinations looked like (if you search for that particularly Dolls Party, you might find IRL pictures from other attendees to get better shots of the table and individual dolls). To be honest, I won one of them (mines is number 19 if you click on the pictures) and she's wearing the Marine☆Tricolor / Pretty outfit from Volks paired with her default high heeled shoes and white wig as her usual, everyday outfit.

From the second wave of ICONs (maybe first wave but leftovers?), my husband got the lavender colored one that has the dark braids, honeyed colored eyes of number 11, and the head sculpt and face-up of number 30 (the lips are not really black but like a deep, dark burgundy). It was not the combo that I think my husband wanted (he wanted that sculpts that looks more pouty and any wig but the braids). However, we switched out her braids as well as her outfit with a wig/costume combo from Volks meant for DDs (Limited Edition Mage [Azerin] Outfit Set which is no longer available via the website) and she's totally awesome now. Based upon what we experienced (me getting one I hoped for versus my husband getting a random combination), you can customize it to your liking with what is available via online stores (Volks, Etsy, Marketplace, etc) or simply swap with someone that's willing to do a trade with you for certain eyes, wig, or whatever you want from this current batch that's being released like another member member suggested to get as close to your ideal look for her as possible.

The combination for Clover that you mentioned actually looks pretty good in person for at least the first variation we saw back then with a light colored wig (white or silvery grey) and honeyed colored eyes. The link I shared has a few examples of first edition Clover with various eyes, sculpts, and wig types. It'll be fun to see what the latest batch looks like and I'm looking forward to owner pictures this September.

Alas, my husband tried for Clover and has not received an email from Volks for this lottery. He still has a few more days so I'm hoping he might still have a chance at her. We'll see, we'll see.
