actually, you do have to I think... ... if you submit your order through the website, you're saying that you definitely want to buy the doll. If you win the lottery you are required to buy any/all that you applied for and won. as to clothes, they may be selling some at the LA store, or on the international website later. No one knows for sure what or if any yet. as to the prices, all volks prices on the volks USA site and the Volks USA store are higher than the actual exchange rate prices, that's nothing new. if you win more than one doll, you have to pay for all of them. (you can only win one of each doll though.) just FYI, I combined these threads so it would be less confusing.
Well it says this on the ordering page: So, if you don't confirm after you won, the order would be automatically cancelled then? *confused*
Yes your right your order will be cancelled if you don't pay when they send you the email asking for payment is my understanding. They can't force you to pay as they don't have your credit card.
Oh, I see! I was wondering about payment since I didn't enter any payment information, that makes sense. But fortunately, my sister was able to get the money together before we entered so it won't be a problem even if we get them all. Good luck everyone!

Yes, it will be cancelled, but it's not the right thing to do. Even though I accidently tried for /4/ of them (thinking it was like other lotteries TT;; where I have no chance at all) if by some freakish miracle I win for (GOD I hope i don't X_X;;; ) I will find a way to pay for all four (even if it means begging someone on here to buy it from me >_>;;; )
Haha! I just did the same thing this morning. Depending on how much you pay on Y!J, for those of us in CA who would also have to pay pay $75 in tax on top of Volks' marked up price, it worked out to be less. I'm writing Volks now to withdraw from the lottery so that someone else can have a better chance to get this beautiful girl.

I didn't pay much , cos i have family living in japan. THat's y I don't have to pay extra free or anything.
Don't worry, I think that all of us would have gotten her through the Volks lottery -- I'd think a two month wait for shipping would give them enough time to make ones for everyone -- but I just decided to go with Y!J to save on the tax and markup. If there wasn't the tax issue, I'd have much rather bought her directly through Volks. It would have been more secure and I like to support Volks when I can.
Now if only people could just go get Yukinojou off Y!J... XD;;; *siiiiiiiiiigh* The wait is already killing me, and there's still 12 more days to go. T_T Must KNOW! Before I up my deposit with Rinkya and go insane!
