They actually emailed me to let me know that they had forgotten to put the sand paper in the kit (I didn't even notice it was missing) They said they were sending it to me right away, so I guess communication was great!I received the missing sand paper in the mail last week May 8.

      It was ordered on Easter Sunday and was shipped the next day! Very impressed!

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Wonderful...the doll is high quality. Her wig, eyes and clothing are also very nice, though her petticoat did tear a little while undressing her.

      Yes. Actually the wig looked even better in person.

      Again, great, I was notified when my order was completed/shipped.

      Extremely easy, Volks offers credit card or PayPal payment options.

      I placed the order at 7pm and it was shipped the next morning.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Definitely, yes. The Large Hands are the same price as the default size but look so much better. The cotton wig cap is good quality. And you get a pretty good amount of Protect Tape and Water Wax when you buy them.

      Exactly.

      Good. I got automated emails confirming my order and letting me know that it'd shipped.

      3 days total, but just 1 business day because I ordered on a Friday night.

      Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Yes. It's the best epoxy putty I've used, and the brush is good quality.

      Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      Yes.

      Yes, they were as expected.

      Directly from Volks International English-language webshop
      * How was the communication?
      With the updated webshop system, communication is now via email with manual invoicing via PayPal. They were overwhelmed with the number of lottery orders and communication was not as prompt as I have been accustomed to. After paying on the 7th I heard nothing about my order for several weeks; I emailed on February 25, 2019 and they replied to apologize and say they were very busy and trying to catch up. My parcels shipped a few days later.
      * How easy was it to pay?
      PayPal is a method I prefer, but the manual invoicing step made payment less easy than before. It took about a week to receive the invoice. They did not combine shipping for this order. I paid separate shipping costs and received separate packages.
      * How long did it take to ship?
      For this order, it took 3 weeks to ship. This is longer than my previous experiences for a Volks item that is not pre-order.
      * Were there any missing or broken items in your order?
      No missing or broken items. The dolls and outfits are perfect.
      * If there were any problems with your order, how did the company handle them?
      When I inquired about shipping, the reply was very polite and apologetic. I am satisfied with the quick response.
      * Would you order from this company again?
      I will order from them again, although I hope that a future update will bring back direct payment processing.
