Volks is coming to Los Angeles, CA

Hmm...how olong do you think this'll take? I know Volks will tell us eventually, but anyone want to prophetsize a date?

Okay, okay! I do have a better prediction. I predict that the the LA LE will be sunlight skin!

 

*laughing* Oh, but wouldn't a Sunlight doll be perfect for LA...?

Maybe it'll be a couple: Sunlight Lucas and Sunlight Madoka... and a special Sunlight SDC. (Yes, I'm dreaming.)

I predict it will open this winter. (Based on absolutely nothing.)

 

I want a Sunlight Anais or Kun, to be perfect little beach bunnies! And any SDC would be welcome!

 

lol! The sooner it opens and starts business, I think the more money they'll make. It's really about time the hosted their own store in the US.

I mean: They have used the Doll and Hobby shop, but that's still a limited selection!

Or maybe it could be another Angel doll...considering it's in the 'City of Angels' and all.

Now that I think about it, maybe that's why Volks chose LA.

 

For the predicition-ness.. I will say it may be Sweet Dream Sakaki? I've seen him on Y!J, but I wasn't sure if he was an official release, a one-off, or a custom. ^^; Or maybe they'll make the Seitenshi's available to the public? <.< No, probably not...

 

I wonder if they'll do an LE "California/LA boy" ^^;; Like the Tokyo Boys, but... LA girls! That would be nifty. I am not holding my breath, but I'd guess if there is an LE, it would probably be a rerelease or a new (naked) angel.

Lillith and Phyllis were released at the opening of the Korean store, so perhaps something similar will accompany the LA opening (FCS head). It would be so exciting to have a US doll released, though! For once us US collectors might have the slight advantage ^^;

 

Oh, that would be lovely...a Sleeping Sakaki! I think Volks had one for display only at one of the Dolpas.

 

This is so funny! Just the other night I was thinking about trying to make a little surfer boy and girl Dollfie outfits. And everyone is saying Volks should have California kids for the LA store!

Actually, they aren't going to give us any info until they put it on their web site. And I doubt if shipping will get much better, unless they open a production facility here. I imagine they chose LA because we have the port near by, plus being an international type of city with lots of shopping.

Whatever Volks decides to do, I'm happy they are coming. And yes, a sunlight LE would be cool, however someone did find out that they won't have Sato FCS here, just the regular FCS so sunlight may not be happening.

But then, who knows? Only Volks does...it's all a mystery for now...

 

Oh Volks. New York is closer to me. Come there instead. =P

 

Maybe they'll eventually do both, and LA will be Sato and NY will be normal FCS. ^^ (It would make sense to me, anyhow... >.> )

As far as I know Volks has said anything about FCS at all (it would be on their website if they had). It's possible that they won't offer any FCS at the LA outlet...

 

There is an earlier post on this thread from someone in Japan who asked at a Volks Store about the Los Angeles store. They were told there will be FCS but it will not be Sato, and that Volks has already asked the employees if any of them would like to come to LA to work.

I would look for the actual post but it's a few pages back...and I have to go shopping on Ebay for Isao now.

 

Shipping charges of whoa are still way better the price inflation of OMGWTFBBQ!

I smell a roadtrip, FCS or not... although I'm hoping for FCS, just in case I can't get my Michael.

 

Would be nice if they decided to take advantage of some local resources and hire some barbarians.
I would moonlight for Volks, they could pay me in dolls.
