1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Volks Mini Super Dollfie discussion Part 2

May 19, 2014

    1. @revien I have a very soft spot for old things... and a co-owner for her so I can't randomly switch her body even if I wanted to xD Atm she is standing slouchingly (with a stand, that engineering really) in my cabinet all on her own cause all other dolls look awkward with her xD

    2. Mine is.. (●´艸) Yeah. I need to get some stands but I'm too busy being a cheap ass. : ) I think I will try the chibi body though. Things can only get better from this point!

    5. HA! I knew why I left you in charge of our girl. She's turning out wonderfully!

    6. @Roterwolkenvogel, Chihiro is a real stunner in every magnificient way! I love that unique faceup and all the details of her styling.:)

@revien, that amazing girl of yours is what I'd call "drop dead gorgeous!!!":D

    7. I am really thinking about buy one msd, because it's the most easy to buy, And the face sculpture is the most anime like, it only loses for the dollfie dream

    8. Hi There!! I am so in love, seeing all these pics of your dolls. I got a old skin girl body a few months ago. Trouble is, she only has one wrist ball. I'm at a loss on what to do. And i'm still trying to find a head for her lol :)

    9. @puggmama, in a pinch I suppose you could always construct a rudementary wrist ball out of polymer clay as a temporary fix (until you could find a real one...I don't know whether Volks would sell parts separately or not.) I recently used sculpy to construct my girl some "Chobit" ears (from the Manga by Clamp.) I created my own persocom character, and knowing she needed special ears I waited to find a Volks sculpt that came with removable ears...luckily I found an F-13 in the marketplace who was missing her ears entirely, so she was being offered at a really good price. So here, with her sculpy ears, is my Ambrosia.:)

    10. PoeticSoul, she's really cute!! I did try to form a ball out of sculpy. It was kind of awful :(
I've been trying to find other bjds with wrist balls. So if I need to buy a new set of hands, I'm good with that. I have contacted volks, and they were not very helpful. They told me you should never buy second hand dolls :(
