@Roterwolkenvogel I'm not in the EU or UK, but that sucks. But, I would hope that a VPN or TOR would allow people to get around that.

 

Agreed, it's such an annoying change Browsing through a proxy is not the same. VPN should indeed be a way around though.

 

TOR works to get around it. I was also surprised when I suddenly could not access YJ anymore

 

It’s all so crazy, already difficult enough to get special Volks dolls, now this. I really hope these workarounds hold up. Thank you to everyone that shared ways to do it!

He is fantastic @Cloudedmind ! I love his styling and that wig works sooo well with his faceup! It frames his face nicely.

Two new boys showed up this week, so I also have my in progress Ami Ayase boy home too.

 

@Kim He’s beautiful! I can’t wait to see what more you do with him!

After finding one, then losing out on it, to finding another, I’m finally bringing home a F-17! He will be my first big boy since I sold my first ever BJD which was a boy. Since then it’s all been girls. Back then I didn’t have the skills and money to really make him what I wanted. Now I do! I’m super excited!

Anyone have some F-17 photos to share? The wait is going to be the end of me.

Hmm, wonder if Volks will have Regulus as click-fest or lottery for the after event. I've been wanting an SD17 for a while and he lovely. Or will they do the switch to lottery if too many requests?

 

@Psycho Sukafu I'm in the same boat...I've not really wanted an SD17 until I saw him.../

 

Tan SD17s are uncommon and Volks really knocked Regulus out of the park.

 

@Alice80 His face up actually reminds me of Kiriko, who was the one I thought I would get... if I didn't keep getting distracted by other dolls. And his Bronze skin (if I've read it properly and not mixed up skintones) would be just a little darker than my SDGr boy that he would be body guard for. I actually had a Shiro in Bronze at one point but passed him on since he was too sweet looking for the character I wanted him to be and his seamlines were wicked sharp. Probably could have kept the seams covered but the faceup was a one-off I didn't want to wipe. At least with Regulus I'd feel less guilty if I do end up changing his face-up.

 

I'm glad Regulus is getting a lot of positive reactions because I would love to see more regular releases of darker skin tones, but I'm super sad that there's going to be so much competition for him.
The bronze skin tone is so fantastic for showing off a sculpt. We had a fair Claude years ago and he was pretty but he just never clicked. I bought him again in bronze and now he's one of my favorite Volks dolls! My phone likes to brighten him up a bit more than he appears to the eye. He's a touch warmer and darker in person.

 

I cannot wait for Regulus, he is honestly one of the nicest sculpts Volks has put out in a long time. And that resin is to die for!

Did everyone see the 360 view video? You can really see the details in his mouth sculpting.

As an aside, my most precious gem came home today! I, like 99% of us, was not fortunate enough to win the lottery. However, she was coming home! I had to appease the Y!J gods but it was worth it!

 

Congratulations @I<3MySD !! She is so precious!! The details on her outfit are amazing.

@St. James Claude is gorgeous in that resin colour!!! Volks definitely needs to make more dolls in it.

My F-17 finally made it home! I have to give him a new faceup but I already love him. His sculpt is so pretty! I also have no clothes besides the shirt and undershorts he’s wearing since he is my first big boy in 14 years. But the sd13 body is fantastic at standing, like a rock!
