Whoof, I am pretty tempted by Regulus, but I just don't have any room! Gaaah. More shelves needed.

 

Anybody knows how the physical sale of those boys works in japan? Is it lottery based too?

can someone tell me if Volks will have FCS open around Oct/Nove/Dec base on last couple of years. I am out of date and don't remember anymore. TIA

 

Frequently it seems like no, but it depends on if there's another event going on. If they have a lottery for one-offs or a DollsParty preorder in that time they frequently don't. Most likely time seems to be Spring/early summer for VolksUSA.

They've done an October FCS period pretty consistently. The only recent exception was 2019 because they were recovering from the LA Dolpa. That order most often features the SD16 girls and Graffiti boys, but not always.

 

i am wanting the small size girls sd13 but will see then what head sculpt they have for October then. I have not bought any volks for years now.

 

I've seen SD13 bodies around in second-hand markets (at the very least, far more frequently than SDGr bodies for example) so if you see a head sculpt you really like but they only have SD16, luckily it won't be too hard to switch the body up later. :P

I need some help on an old One-Off girl, I searched the whole web for informations, but it seems there were only two one-off releases of Rio. This is the old Rio I'm talking about. Makeup and body seems really old like the first releases of her:

I'd be happy if anyone has an idea how old this Rio might be or which one-off she could be!

 

The new dormitory boys are beautiful, but I'll be entering the Michele lotto for approximately the fifth time, lol!!! Best of luck to everyone when the time comes.

 

If it's the original faceup, then it looks very old as much as pre-2006ish. And if you're referencing Tenshi No Kichi, then I would not base the existence of oneoffs on their info. There's many oneoffs that are not documented online.

Also, if you bought that Rio oneoff, then I hope you share photos of her when she arrives! I initially bought it but canceled the sale when shipping came to $100.

 

Thanks a lot for your information! Well, I was also thinking of cancelling her because my selected shipping option was changed to DHL Express (I got some bad experience with them in the past), but I can't get her out of my mind, her cute smile and this charming old faceup is getting me.

Alright I just had to cave and ordered Anna, I just can't resist that adorable sweet face of hers. I love beautiful Elsa too but I can only afford one doll at the moment. I completely adore her little smile. And now the long wait

 

@Roweena23 I agree. My wallet is not happy ordering both girls but they have been on my 'must get' list since they were announced. I justify it since second hand can be hard and expensive. Plus Anna is spot on and so adorable! At least they are not lottery like the boys will be at the end of the month.

 

@Psycho Sukafu Oh indeed, tell me about it! I'm so very glad I didn't have to enter a lottery for either of these pretty sweet hearts as I haven't had the best of luck winning a doll in many years. Your'e so lucky you didn't have to decide between the two! By some miracle, if I could somehow conjure up enough money, I'd also love to have Elsa as well because what a beauty and those magical hands conjuring up the snow are so different. I don't have anyone with Anna's pinkish fair skin tone from Volks anyway and her incredibly cute happy face really reeled me in and pulled at my heart strings plus I adore her entire outfit and wig anyway. Such a cute pair of sisters they are!
