Sweet beautiful Macha finally arrived yesterday so I wanted to pair her up with Elsa for a quick snap...they seem to have become instant friends. Then again Elsa seems to pair well with anyone in the house. I still can't get over all of the glorious little ruffles, lace and bows all over Macha's entire dreamy ensemble and her auburn braids are so pretty in person. Volks and Pinkhouse really outdid themselves

edit: My dear sweet angel cat who at the age of fifteen sadly died yesterday in the late afternoon after posting the picture and I'm completely devastated by her absence. Though nothing material in this world can ever replace her, Matcha's timely arrival this week has been such a welcome comfort. Throughout the years, Volks doll's sweet faces always help to cheer me up and put a smile on my face. Be sure to hug your pets who unconditionally love you so much.

 

I'm so sorry to read about your cat, @Roweena23! Our animals really do connect with us and are a part of our souls. I'm glad Macha brought you a small bit of comfort!

For my doll tax, I finally finished putting together my "Fauxna-sama". I would never be able to find or afford the official Volks Mana release, so this was born! The doll is all legit of course. DWC 02 head painted by Krowbar here on DoA. Sd13 SeiRei body with SDGr 01 hands. Wig styled by me. Dress is the official Volks release (I have shame for what it cost me). And coffin is from Moi-meme-Moitie but I made the lining.

I haven't been able to finish a doll project in some time, so I am really thrilled with how this came together!

Thank you!! Most of the credit goes to the fantastic faceup artist though! Working with blue on white like that is no easy task!

 

I just took out eyes for the first time from my Regulus. It actually came out super easily with a hair dyer in like 10 min. No damage to faceup or eyes in removal. A lot less scary than I thought it would be. There's still a lot of residue but nothing intrusive enough to keep eyes from fitting in just fine as there was more glue around the eye well than inside of it.

Well, I'd like to say that I entered for a Shinku one off (online) today but seems that the website is overloaded. Yikes. Guess everyone has the same idea.

 

I looked just now, and the One-Off page is showing. But yeah, yesterday it was a no-go; understandable since it was the first day in Japan. That's a very pretty Shinku; she's wearing one of my favorite wigs, lol! Keep trying, and good luck!
