  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     2. I just realized not until Oct. 31! I think the traffic is from the online lady Shige event and extras that you can get if you order within the next few days. Looks like lady Shige is also available at Dolpa 48.

      Yeah ... once I finally got on, I realized that! :lol: Ah well. Practice run. Entries start Oct. 31 (Japan time). :thumbup

    5. @kotoshin Thank you! My friend gave me the sun necklace and I layered it with a necklace I got off TaoBao. He is Egyptian so I wanted to give it that feel. I just gave him a nose stud too. I'll repost him again sometime to show that once he gets his Jackal ears. :)

I remembered reading Volks' little tidbit about the SD10 body that essentially said the boy and girl bodies are meant to look somewhat similar (not as much as SDM/YoSD and the like, but still) because they're meant to be children who still haven't matured (this was from the old site, which seems to be updated and gone now...) So I figured, why not dress my Victorique as a boy? If the bodies are that similar, it won't be noticeable one way or the other when fully clothed...
      Ah.... mistakes were made. I think I'll hunt down a B-10 SeiRei or Kyo-Tenshi for him now, I'm not sure if I want him to have an actual SD10 Boy body...

    17. There will be lots of passes so don’t stress about a click war or buying it within seconds of it opening. This is not like the old Xpass limited to a limited amount and people jockeying for good spots. They all come with a guidebook and a scratch Letter/number to assign you a place in line. Volks could do a lottery during the line up and rearrange the order of entrance, so just because you get a letter A doesn’t mean you’ll get to go in first.

    18. Volks hasn’t reordered the line at Dolpa since COVID. All of the events where regular admission comes with a scratch-off ticket have featured an entry order based on the scratch-off information. They could change now, but they haven’t announced that they will do so.

      The premium admission ticket is new, and while Volks did XPass for the dealer’s room in the past, that only applied to the dealer’s room, and not the Sumika shop (where you buy dolls/Volks outfits).

      It’s currently pretty unclear if anyone who didn’t get a premium entry pass will be likely to get a doll at the event. Alice and SwD Lorina sold out around B50 or so at the 2021 Kyoto Dolpa, for example. Mytyl at winter Dolpa in 2021 had more dolls and was available later in the line, iirc.

      If you’re really hoping to get a doll, and you didn’t get premium admission tickets, and your scratch-off letter is like D, you may be out of luck. People frequently sell their guidebook entries on Y!J, so you could try for one with a better letter there. But, like I said, it’s really unknown if anyone other than premium entry people will get a doll.

      If you’re after a specific dealer’s outfit, and that dealer is really popular, you would also benefit from a low letter ticket. If you just want to get in whenever, tickets are unlikely to sell out and you should be fine.
