1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Volks Super Dollfie - SD, SD13, SD16, SD17, SDGr, SDGou & FCS - XXXIII

    1. Yes, clearly Cain would freckle and burn rather than tan, which is why his ensemble is nothing but breeches, a cropped version of Williams' coat (because it was torn away in the surf) and a palm leaf hat that his captain wove for him to protect his delicate skin.

Reisner tried to to distract Cecile from obsessing over his missing nemesis by steering through dangerous waters, only to run aground on the very same island! *gaygasp* Will they save enough rum from the crashing rocks?? Will Lady Sylvie arrive to save them? Will this be the version of Cecile that comes with a peg leg?

    2. SHARK INFESTED WATERS! oh no! Reisner will have to care for the injured Captain Cecile, now missing a leg to a shark attack, and must fashion him a wooden leg!

Later, Cain and Reisner will drunkenly bond over caring for their captains at their meager bonfire. "What if he doesn't make it? What if I've killed My Beloved Cecile?"

Shi.... I really want these dolls.

    5. Hello! I am looking to get a pair of SD shoes from Volks (SB-SD-275) for a doll from another line but I just wanted to ask about what the usual inner measurements of the shoes are - support unfortunately didn't have that information. For size it lists DSD, SD, SDB, SD13, SDGr (movable legs), SD16 (movable legs), MDD Mochi-Ashi, DDS, DDSB, DD, DDB, and DDdy. I know shoes labeled for SD can run a huge range, but I'd have to import these so I just want to double check that they'd work as best I can.

    6. @Mothball - Which doll do you want to buy them for? It might be easier to tell you how they'd fit based on that.

    7. Hey, @Mothball! I went and looked at the shoes in question. The sales listing shows them fitting fairly nicely on one of the vinyl Dollfie Dream (DD) bodies, which all have feet that are about 6cm long and about 2.5cm wide at the widest point (the ball of the foot). The shoes look to be generally the same size as other DD-sized Volks shoes, which is to say about 9cm on the outside.

I went and waved my ruler at some DD feet to be certain. I suspect that the shoes will fit well on a foot of up to 6.5cm in length - since that is the SD10 foot size - and 7cm is probably doable. It'd definitely help to know what doll you're looking to shoe, though. :)

    8. It's a Lumedoll Zero I got back in 2012 (I remember they used to be off topic, but I think that was revised? If it wasn't though, please let me know!) . I know people were discussing that SD size shoes would normally work but it might have been specifically for the SD boy lines.

Wiki says 8cm which seems a bit large for SD size shoes, despite people recommending those as what you should go for from different vendors.

e: I was able to dig them out and it is indeed 8 cm for their feet.

    9. Oh! In that case, you'd technically want something that fits SDGrB or SD13B - Volks boys of that size have feet that are pretty much exactly 8cm long. The shoes you were looking at were made for Volks girls of varying sizes, who have smaller feet by default.

That being said, I don't recommend buying Volks-made shoes for that size of doll right now. They don't currently make many pairs of shoes that fit the 8cm foot - they make shoes that fit the SD17 10cm foot and then flag them as 'fitting' the SDGrB foot, since you can in fact place their feet inside the big shoes and the big shoes won't immediately fall off. They are absurdly oversized and look bad.

People have been low-key complaining about this for a while, and Volks did in fact make a new loafer that fits SDGrB specifically, which immediately sold out. :XD:

    10. Question that I was wondering today: Have any of the classic/older Volks sculpts been updated or altered and still sold under the same name? Nana Sweet Dream is a grail of mine and I'm fine with purchasing an older release, but looking at the old sculpt and newer One Offs, the newer ones seem to have more detail, but it could just be the original, simple faceups don't do the sculpt justice. Anyone have any idea? thank you in advance

    11. It's definitely the face-up that makes a difference. The head is still the same and Volks face-up in the past really don't do justice to their wonderful doll :sweat

    12. There haven’t been any changes to the sculpt since pureskin was adopted.
The very old version was a bit different but that involved the head cap setup.

    13. Did anyone else enter the June Bloom lottery on the JP store? I entered for Souseiseki because her dress was so adorable, and I was tempted to put in for Diamond as well but the thought of paying for two fullset dolls right now is a little terrifying!

    14. I didn't, but I hope we have some DoA winners, and get to see owner pics :)

    15. Put my DearSD Mai head on a SD10 male body. And I've fallen in love with the SD10 size. :D

    16. What is your preferred jointed hands brand/size for SDGRB and SD17 boys?
There are so many companies that offer jointed hands, now that I want to find the best ones to choose for my boys.

      Thanks :D

    17. JP June Bloom One Off lottery result day...fingers crossed...

    18. Any winners here? I am super shocked! I've been entering the lotteries since around 2016 / 2017 from USA and global site but never received a winning email until today :aeyepop: I won the June Bloom Belldandy :3nodding:
