Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     4. Has anyone heard of updates on Volks discontinuing the current round of standard SDs and releasing new ones?

    5. They periodically tweet reminders about them being discontinued on Twitter, but I imagine there’s still plenty left. I was thinking they could be waiting to introduce the new standards for the 25th anniversary next year.

    6. Didn't hear anything but I ordered a Nico from the JP store before she wasn't a standard any more. At least Volks keeps a lot of their standards available through FCS so if you miss out, there'a still a way.
      Nico, Mai and SDM Momo are now "awaiting restock" on JP but I don't know if that means the last of them have been sold before the discontinuation.

    7. Now that I own multiple SDGR Boys, I need shoes for my boys.
      Volks doesn't make shoes explicitly for the SDGRB body (err...SD13) anymore, if they do, it is rare.
      I'm thinking before the larger SD boys, SD13 shoes were released more, but now Volks makes "one shoe to fit them all" even if the proportions look ridiculous.

      The new Volks shoes that fit all the boy bodies are too big on SDGrB, even if with socks on.

      Below are comparison photos of shoes that I've found that work for SDGRB, SD13, and the like while looking proportionally correct and not being huge.

    12. Glad I'm not the only one a bit annoyed with the Volks sizing these days...my SD13s just swim in everything from them now. Clothes and shoes both. Even my 65cm Switch boy, who has mildly large feet, looks a little ridiculous in his Volks loafers :sweat

      But shoe shack is great! They're really amazing for the price and fit super well on both my Volks and CP Delf boys.

    13. I have not heard anything about it being discontinued. People were asking questions about if anyone knows if it's coming back earlier in this thread, and I think it turned into a rumor when it reached tumblr as things often do :lol:
      They migrated the site in spring and didn't have it ready for summer. But I would give them a few months before worrying about it. They are doing Yo-SD preorder for the end of this month, and after event lottery early next month so it probably won't be Sept. The order period opens on the first of whatever month it's offered, and they did it in October for the past two years, so maybe it will return in October or November.

    14. Just logged into the JP store to see the Frozen girls gone (both SD13/SDGr and DSD size) and knight Sapphire show up as "end of sale". Does this mean she sold out at Nagoya Dolpa? Also I swear SDGr Elsa and DSD Anna weren't sold out yesterday...

    15. For the Frozen girls I think it depends on whether you're logged in as an international customer or not. They are only available to japanese customers.
      And Sapphire's lottery sale hasn't started yet. It should start at the beginning of September.

    17. Does the Sapphire Princess Knight have different make up from A Girl with Flaxen Hair? Or just different outfits? I'm really surprised to see Sapphire available for lottery for international! I'm tempted but I said no more dolls unless it was Shinku or Victorique. :sweat

    18. They are different faceups, although it is quite subtle. The maiden version also is on a different bust size for the body!

      The Maiden version is more smiley and has more intense blush. This is an IG post that compares, from left to right, F-98, Sapphire (Knight) and Sapphire (Maiden)
