Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.       Back in the early days, when the very first Cecile was released in 2002 I wanted him so bad (despite his harrble promo pics) but I was so poor at the time. I could not afford him. I actually stopped even looking at any BJDs for a few years because I was so sad I couldn't buy him. By the time I could afford him it was mostly scarred Ceciles (not right for me) and he looked too young for how my crew was shaping up. I basically waited 16 years to get this version, so he's very special to me. <3

    10. JP lottery for Sapphire is up, but you have to pay in full as a deposit to enter. Why does the Volks JP website always seem to work perfectly when new items are released, but crashes/overloads at seemingly random times? *_*

    13. Good luck to all with their lottery entries!!

      I do have a question for owners of more recently produced sculpts...I just received my new F-75 head, and compared to my other SD boys including my new F-72, his head and head cap are super huge. I didn't notice until I was trying to pull a wig from my Shiro Tachibana onto his head, and it wouldn't hold no matter how I tried. Comparing the heads, I notice how much more elongated the F-75 head/head cap was (sorta alien-like?). I couldn't even get my 9-10 wigs on him.

      Is this Volks' current head cap size for SDGr?

    16. I find Volks' head cap sizes vary wildly between sculpts. My F-83 and F-98 can both fit 8-9 wigs, albeit with the help of a silicone wig cap to keep them on. I don't think there is a standard or common head cap size.

    17. The newest heads I own are F-55 and F-59, but from looking at all my SD sized dolls, the headcap size can vary a lot. You can see the difference in this resin comparison thread I posted: https://denofangels.com/threads/volks-ps-normal-fair-resin-2004-2021.872590/
      The last two are F-59 and F-55.

    20. @castironteapot Yeah ... I feel like Shinku always manages to find herself at Manadarake or Dollyteria. I told myself I'm not allowed to get her unless she finds her way to me from Volks directly somehow. She's a licensed head so she wouldn't be allowed on trade in service. But! I have been tempted with many that from the secondary market! Gotta stay strong! One day she will be mine!! :lol:
