Thanks! I’ve decided to remove it and cover with the suede I’m using.

Yes there are drilled holes! Good to know it’s a mod lol. The glue drops catch the ridge on the back of the thigh but don’t do much for stability I think.

I’m going to peel them off and suede over the divots. Thank you! And in the shoulders I was planning on kips so I’ll just do that hah.

@SuperShawol he's so handsome in that uniform! It's one of my favorite Volks outfits to date.

I also just re-dressed my F-75 in the Volks uniform the other day

 

I think there's a possibility that the glue nubs might be something Volks tried for a very short time, rather than a mod. I have two SD16 Yukinojos (it's a fixation) and they both have similar glue nubs inside their bodies. Maybe Volks tried this in an attempt to improve posing and decided it wasn't worth continuing; the recent wig-holding ridge thing seems like a similar attempt at improvement which may or may not stick around.

If I'm correct about the glue nubs being a Volks-done thing, then the body you're looking at would probably have been made around 2005.

Whoa, very handsome boys! This uniform looks great on both of them! It looks very well done too.

 

Does anyone know how long do Volks doll listings (including the body) last on Dollyteria on average? I have only browsed the site a few times, so I don't know how fast it moves.

I'm feeling dumb, is SDGr Boy Williams The Diligent Scholar an actual different sculpt or just the same head as at least one of the other Williams? Other than him being in WS.
I really want to add him to my Williams collection but only if he's actually different. He doesn't seem very popular, luckily for me.

 

@reaperofleaves He appears to be the same head as one of the other Williams just in WS (which for me personally was different enough), although whether he's the old SD13 version or the SD17 version I don't believe Volks has said.

 

What happened to angelden.net? All the photos are gone Even the affiliate websites.

 

@reaperofleaves he has a different sculpt number than SD13 Williams, but I don't own both to do a full side by side comparison. I haven't figured out if the number signifies the changes for the standard head cap or a resculpt.

By the way, did anyone get a DP51 Rigel or Michele? I'd love to know if they got new numbers and/or standardized head caps.

 

Usually they come back once a day and then disappear again from what I've noticed.

 

I manage to grab 2 Michele but 0 Alto from the last event. I talked with the shop I asked to help entering Lottery for me (but only for Michele as he's my grail doll) and by chance, they also entered for Alto. We both won Michele but did not win Alto.

I left the hobby for a while and did not keep track on Michele's popularity in recent years so I thought it would be the same case as Williams The Diligent Scholar and Michele would be up for sale later because like, winning 2 of him at the same time is a bit sus. To my surprise, Volks did not do that. Is it just my dumb luck? Did anyone win Alto at all? To me it seems like there's a lot of people went for him.

And now I end up with 2 Michele, 1 of them may have to go. But the urge to make twins Michele is also strong lol

 

I won Alto. I'm hoping he shows up on my birthday!

 

Angelden photos won't show for me on my PCs, but so far I can always see them on Safari on my iPad. Not sure what's up with that!
