Volks Super Dollfie - SD, SD13, SD16, SD17, SDGr, SDGou & FCS - XXXIV

Did Volks stop making the stands with the wooden base? I need two for the SD17 Male. And an additional extender for an existing stand—every time I check its always sold out.

Thanks, I know its been like two years! I have a Regulas that is still in his box as I have no stand for him.

 

No worries! Have you considered one from Alice's? I'm pretty sure they have stands in that size. Not sure about the wooden base though.

 

@Kbarberdav They're expensive, but Dollmore has stands with wooden bases. Also a saddle version.

 

I'm really happy to see Diamond is going to be in JP furucho for a bit. She's probably one of the rarest SD sculpts after only one USA FCS run and maybe a one off or two, so I would have loved to see what she would have gone for before this in the Japanese aftermarket. It could have been insane.

 

Diamond is one of my most favorite Volks sculpts so I love to see more of her!

Has anyone on here ever seen the volks super dollfie Mana Sama? If so how long ago was it?

 

Mana-sama was one of the dolls you could vote for in the latest Best Selection, I voted every day. Maybe we will get a rerelease within a few years, if we are very lucky

 

@mannsam Mana was limited to only 31 dolls, with one going to Mana himself, so it's as rare and sought after as you could imagine. I only managed to see the real deal in the museum at Volks' Tenshi no Sato, where they have every doll they've ever made on display.

 

I too voted a lot for mana on the latest best selection. Mana has so many incredible looks, I'm hoping to see another one created in Dollfie form. I hope mana wins or at least Volks releases another Moi Meme Moitie dress set

 

I am also on the hoping Mana gets re released team! Maybe one day...but even so rip my lottery luck!

 

Dang, people are so lucky to have the Mana sama doll. Hopefully one day I can get my hands on her.

 

So I’m kind of new to collecting dolls, how will we know who won the Volks re-release?

 

May I suggest doing a custom? I knew there'd be no way I'd ever find one so I bought a DWC 02 head painted by @Krowbar. I found the outfit set second hand from Japan and styled the wig myself.

I call them "Fauxna-sama"

 

You would know when they announce the upcoming release in Volks News. They have never released polling results publicly, that's what I was told

I looove your Fauxna-sama! I saw them in google image search when I was admiring pics of Volks Mana The wig you chose is so great too.
In fact seeing your pretty Fauxna on google made me consider doing a Mana-like FCS in the future if I can't manage to get the real deal. There are so many pretty Volks sculpts that could work and lots of lovely outfits to be recreated. And Volks will copy their own make ups for you Of course, Krowbar totally nailed the look perfectly too!

I think Order Make with references would totally work! Especially if you use Volks' own photos, they tend to nail it!
