    4. I didn't get the blue dress, but I pulled off everything else I went for!
My friend did get the blue so between the two of us we got all of it (plus one of the dolls)

    5. Went for the Blue dress first but sold out when i was paying, then tried with the white one and it happened to me again haha, I wonder how many sets were sold in general, they sold out quite fast

    6. This is my first time entering for a doll, does Volks jp not accept debit cards for lotteries? Is it only credit cards?

    7. I bought everything in separate orders, my cart had issues actually loading items in so I didn't dare try for two things in an order. I couldn't even get anything in my cart until I dumped my other intended purchases out.

If your debit card has a Visa/etc logo they should accept it - but keep in mind they will take the funds now and you'll be without the cash until potentially when they decide on the results (some people get it back earlier, other people it gets held until the end, it's not really predictable).

    8. I couldn't even load into the site, lol! It was all gone after 10 minutes of being totally blocked out.

    9. Does anyone know if it's ok that the name order is different in the account vs the credit card?

On the payment page, Volks displays customer names in Japanese order (Last, First) but when I enter my name in the credit card field, I put it in my card/country's order (First, Last).

Would a lottery entry be disqualified for name not matching the name on the credit card due to different name order :?

    10. If it's not totally different name it should be fine. Totally different name will got a NO from them.

    11. @Turynn I did see a warning when I was going through the checkout process yesterday that cards with different names to the account holder will be declined, so I'd agree with @xxxsaturnxxx

    12. I never had any problems due to that. Neither for lotteries nor in stock purchases. We have the same convention (first, last) in my country so that's how it's written on my card and how I enter my card information.

    13. You're fine, I order from Volks with my card a lot and my card is First Last and my volks is Last First and I've never had an issue. It's more of an issue if you use a different first name on one (for example if your first name is Catherine but you go by Sunny because of a middle name you use, if you registered your Volks account with the first name Sunny your card needs the same first name and Catherine wouldn't work).

    14. Does VolksUSA hold your money when you enter a lottery? Or does only Volks int do that?

    15. Just international. USA let's you just submit the "order" and not enter payment info. They request it later if you win :)

    16. Okay yayyy. Thank you!

    17. I know, it's so much nicer! Volks int doesn't like my cards anyway, but I just don't have enough money to go around to miss a chunk of it for a month or so until it gets returned. So I'm really glad USA doesn't do that and hope it won't change.:sweat

    18. Managed to get the coat and the shoes/bag set but will be trying for the Florencia JSK through Volks USA since that was my first priority! I can’t wait to see how cute everyone’s dolls look in these outfit sets. :love

    19. Hey guys, I'm slowly getting back into the Volks addiction, but I wanted to ask for some info.

There's an in-person Bisque lottery in Kyoto at the end of February. I live in Japan, speak N1-level Japanese, have VS membership and can attend the lottery in-person and do the whole 1.5 hour orientation spiel with no problems.

I've found sporadic info on the ballpark price of these girls (250000 yen - 330000 yen?). I'd probably just do the points blushing, regular eyes, etc. if I won.

What I can't find is whether they charge you upfront or if you can do a payment plan like the FCS where you put down a deposit then pay the rest in full when picking up the doll. Anyone know for sure?

I'm trying to gauge how much money I'd actually need on-hand for this experience, including taking the shink to go down to Kyoto--I wouldn't be paying for it with a credit card.

    20. @Grimoire I suggest you to prepare the full amount. Since credit card isn't a choice.

I had never put my name on the bisque lottery since I'm not collecting them, but been to Sato many time when they are the lottery going on. It's very much like one-off where you can just bring the doll you won back in the same day. So... I assume they will take full payment. Your research about pricing are also correct :3nodding:
