I’ve never entered for a doll on Volks USA, for those that have won a lottery for a doll does Volks offer a payment plan or do you have to pay in full?
Fingers crossed to everyone who entered for Yumepi and/or Macha. I thought it was totally fine to let go after many failed entries when they were first released as PH collab. However, it’s tough to resist the glittery makeup for this BTSSB collaboration. They came home nearly 2 weeks ago. In just a bit of my spare time, I’ve managed to record unboxing these 2 cuties. I hope you guys enjoy watching this video.

Speaking of which, the charge from Volks Int dropped off my card after one day, so I guess there was no reason to be worried lol.
Unfortunately Volks didn't like my card for the entire lottery period on the jp site. Fingers crossed I can score Macha during the US lottery. She's my grail at this point. Does anyone know if you can enter for multiple people in the same household? I would obviously pay for both orders if I win, and cards are in our own names of course. I don't want to ruin my chances by breaking the rules.
I believe that’s allowed, I looked into the rules because I’m thinking of doing the same for yumepi. They don't allow one person making different accounts with different emails but multiple people in the same household is fine. Any account with an unpaid lottery win I believe results in a banned account.
I think I can answer this. There are a couple I know in local community who both collect doll (husband and wife). They live together of course and sometime enter the lottery together from what I heard. Everything seem fine, just never ask if they ever won 2of the same doll from both account.
Thank you both for the detailed answers. I think my husband and I will try in that case. Even if we win two dolls, I would be fine with that vs not getting one. I've never put in for a lottery before; I hope there's a good number of dolls available for everyone who wants one. Matcha and Yumepi are both so gorgeous, I can imagine their lottery will be very popular.
My wife and I usually both enter for a lottery if we want a specific Volks doll. Even when we both win, it's usually not hard to find a friend who lost that wants the extra one~

I went and checked Japanese prices elsewhere and, even with the reseller premium, the baby items are a bit cheaper than on VolksUSA. So, if you want to ensure you get the items you want, definitely check yahoo auctions! Some items are cheaper than on the VolksUSA site and, even after adding in international shipping, the price should be the same as or less than buying from VolksUSA + you'll get them sooner. A couple items are a wee bit more expensive than on VolksUSA, but if you're fine with paying that premium, you can get those, too.
Particularly true for the coat! Watch out for shipping service fees though, depending on your service and what your item costs it can eat up the savings quickly.
That is true! I use proxys a lot, so I have a good sense of it but it's good advice to add it all up mentally before clicking buy.
Resin/skin color change in Volks. I remember reading they changes this sometime, but does anyone know what year and how did it change (as in more or less pink for example)?
