1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Volks Super Dollfie - SD, SD13, SD16, SD17, SDGr, SDGou & FCS - XXXIV

    1. I'm not a chemist, but I would be careful cooling and heating fabric with heat sensitive ink on it. Yes, you can make it reappear and disappear, but there's going to be a point where the compound that turns to acid when heated is used up and the application of heat will no longer make the ink disappear. These inks weren't created to repeatedly disappear and reappear. You might have to apply another acid or just wash it out. Frixion ink does not come out perfectly in the washing machine and requires scrubbing. This might actually just be friction causing it to turn invisible! This is not a good idea to experiment on expensive pieces of doll clothing and should definitely be tested on a scrap instead. It'd be so crappy to have a shirt that is stuck with the blue lines!

Here's a page on Frixion ink: Pilot FriXion Erasable Pens: A Comprehensive Guide | JetPens
I have no idea if Volks is using this brand, but I'm sure other heat sensitive inks are using a similar concept.

    2. @nyaaain I tried friction and it didn’t do anything.
I was willing to test on this shirt as I don’t care about damaging it. I’m not advocating anyone go around throwing valuable items in the freezer or taking risks they aren’t comfortable with.

    3. The resale prices are bad even for the outfits now wow

    4. Yeah, I'm thinking I'm not going to be able to get Macha. I'm willing to pay resale prices if they make sense, but more than double original cost when she was just released hurts my soul. I'm torn between just paying the huge prices and waiting a few months to see if they go down a bit as more people get their dolls. I am happy that I was able to grab the shoes and bag, for close to original price. I used to own the shoes and bag for myself, but in black. Kinda wish I had kept them now, but who could have known I'd be buying them for my doll 5 years later?

    5. That's terrible! TBH I'd say pay the lowest resale price you can find on YJ right now. Pink House Yumepi/Macha are like double the resale price of these new ones so I don't think the price will be going down in the near future

    6. No emails from Volks today. No VolksUSA lottery and nothing from international customer service. I am curious to see what they reply with.
But I did try the hair dryer method and it did work on the shirt! I'm interested to see if it will creep up again since my office is a little colder than the rest of the house.

    7. I can toss the test shirt in my fridge to see if that brings them back and see if a less-cold environment can impact it. Still no reappearance at this point (and in case anyone wonders no I'm not suggesting anyone risk damaging expensive doll clothes, I still don't care about this shirt).
I can say temperatures in the mid 50's F don't cause it or my stuff would have lines everywhere.

Edit: After 24 hours in the fridge I see no lines.

    8. Dang, no luck on anything in the Volks USA lotto, either. A resounding double loss for me! Mega congrats to all winners!

    9. Thank you for the kind advice. I went ahead and bought her for the resale price. I was too afraid to miss out, after seeing the pink house release mentioned. I've seen how much they go for second hand. :XD:

For anyone interested, Baby, the stars shine bright has a preorder going on their international site for the people sized honey cross shoes Macha wears. It ends today.

    11. Thank you so much! As long as nothing goes wrong with the shopping service, I'll be welcoming her home early next month. My heart definitely skipped a beat pressing the purchase button. I don't tend to spend amounts that high, but I somehow convinced myself I'm "saving money" by buying it now since she'll likely be more pricy down the line. My partner called it doll math.

    13. Congratulations to all the lottery winners of the Baby the Stars Shine Bright meets Macha and Yumepi!

I was not lucky enough to win the lottery so now I am saving up for them in the hopes that I can bring them home in the near future.
In the meantime, please, I have a wish that I hope someone can make come true.

There is a deadline for customers outside of Japan to order these absolutely beautiful "Kyun Heart Hands".

Does anyone have the url link to them for both Macha (Pure Skin fair skin) and Yumepi (Pure Skin white skin)?
The url link is located inside the Extra Hand Parts pamphlet and is not user specific.
Please message me, I would be eternally grateful, Thank you! :abow:

    14. Volks replied about the spots on my friend’s dress. They said to carefully use a hair dryer/heat to remove the spots.

    15. After years of on again off again searching, I’m finally bringing home my grail, Belldandy :whee:. She is currently on the way to the proxy warehouse and I couldn’t be more excited!

Rather than keep her in the default Goddess outfit I’d like to have her be in more casual outfits that Belldandy would wear. It’s gonna be fun to piece together outfits for her :)

    16. Congratulations! I never knew Volks had that sculpt, and upon research, she is absolutely breathtaking.

    17. She is definitely an oldie but a goodie :D!

By the way does anyone know if there are any known archives of older Volks outfit sets?

    18. I just received the response today as well;

Thank you for your support of VOLKS INC. We are sorry for making you worry about your purchased product.
We sincerely apologize that there was some pen marks were found for your purchased outfits. We apologize for the inconvenience, but regarding the pen marks on the product, we have discovered that they can be removed with heat, so we would like to ask you to try repairing it.
The pen marks may disappear if you warm them up with a household hair dryer. To prevent heat damage to the dress, please keep the hair dryer about 30cm away from the outfits.
If you cannot solve the problem by trying above, please let us know the details again.
We are sorry for your inconvenience.

So there we go, official Volks solution that Eleniel already solved. :D

    19. I was able to find a semi reasonable *coughs up blood* Macha via a personal proxy. I tried both lotteries and didn't win anything and started looking at the Pink House collab resale prices and made the decision to jump on it while I could before she potentially gets even more expensive :sweat
I am coping because I am not interested in owning a bunch of resin BJDs as I am too terrified of breaking them and she is honestly my dream girlie so the cost with all things considered isn't too bad. And also filing her in my brain under wedding expense helps as I am using a SDGr pattern as a base to custom make a wedding dress to match my own to twin with me at my wedding in a few months hehe
I only recently got my first resin girl a few months ago which was Ariel. I am excited for my red headed girls to be bffs and to also hang out with my vinyl DDs :kitty1
