I sent my Isao in for getting his faceup redone at LA Dolpa 2019 and yeah they do the original LE faceup. It's a very faithful recreation; it even matches the very light 2004 level of blushing. So it should be just a nice modern re-do! I didn't have the peeling done because he matches his body and I don't mind the yellow so I can't speak to that.

@Claude_is_strange Have you checked Dollyteria, Mandarake and Y!J sales history? I often use those as a ballpark estimate of what a sculpt is worth
I found this auction that seems to have gone for the doll's original price, this listing seems to have gone for a bit less, there are a couple of Mandarake listings of the doll and outfit separately, too. Seems like she's going for what she was originally (JPY 95000) or a bit less from what I could find.

Yumepi and Maacha are very popular, so Volks may want to stay with a winning aesthetic for their cute girls. Lieselotte is another; I thought Fujitsubo and Murasaki were very similar to Lieselotte. It seems to be the looks their Japanese customers expect. I'm amazed that Volks is even doing SD17 boys anymore, after Genji's big flop. Before pics were posted on the blog, I thought the Interstellar Dormitory was going co-ed Regulus was popular the first time around, though, so we shall see.
While I agree that the two pairs are very alike, they still have their own charm which I'm honestly really fond and excited to see more of though I'd much rather have them in a more natural face-up, that's just my type. Still, I can't stop looking at them!!
These new girls are absolutely gorgeous! I really love the whole 60s-ish vibes with their outfits! This lottery is a must win situation because i can already tell their aftermarket prices are going to be insane lol… it would also be amazing if we saw these girls for sale at the upcoming LA dolpa!
The makeup is so pretty and makes the eyes very sparkly! I love itThough I agree with @desireunopened that a more natural look would suit them very well too. Especially with the outfits. Or maybe something totally different and bold like a matching color eyeshaddow
I didn't notice any difference to Maacha and Yumepi at first either ! The makeup and styling is nearly identical. Looking at it more closely, they're like...the chubby cheek version of them lol. No doubt they'll be very popular. But I'm always looking forward to seeing new boys!
