1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Volks Super Dollfie - SD, SD13, SD16, SD17, SDGr, SDGou & FCS - XXXV

Jul 14, 2025

    1. Thank you, going to Sato was a special treat, especially since this was also my first time travelling to Japan. I also adore F-26, her eyes are so distinctive for a Volks sculpt. :love A bit of a shame this sculpt is discontinued now, I hope other owners will continue to share pics!

    2. Thanks for the post! The Tenshi no Sato post was very nostalgic for me. I went a couple times when I lived in Japan 2007-2011. I ordered FCS dolls twice and entered for a one off once and won my Tony. One of my FCS orderes was an F26 girl on a Seitenshi body. Her name is Kozuru. Sad she's being disco'd. When I went you had to have a Japanese address to enter for one-offs; they would not ship overseas. Do you know if that is still the case?

    3. Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the blog post ^^

I'm afraid I don't know for sure. GL members can apply for Sato one-offs -- it was stated on the paper application I received, and also mentioned on the website. (Whereas GL cannot apply for Sumika and Mado one-offs.) But I had no intention of joining lottery so I didn't think to ask about the procedure.
Based on the info on this webpage, my feeling is that Volks will still not ship overseas. So presumably, you'd have to have a Japan address long enough to go through the whole process of applying for, winning and collecting a One-off. But I can't confirm this.

    4. You can email them and ask. They're pretty good about answering questions, in my experience.
