Volks Super Dollfie ~ SD, SD13, SDGr, SD16, SD17 & FCS - Part V

So it is Fabian, on an SD17 body, with his new faceup that we just met a couple pages back!
Gee, and he seemed like such a sweet boy in that earlier pic - you totally couldn't hear the hotpants.

 

I have many dolls at home that are difficult in terms of wig selection. I used to have a Ryoya too and I remember he was one of them, along with many others like Genji, Williams, Cristal, Amakusa and so on. I like to use various wigs for different looks for my dolls so I experience frustration often. Because if I have a hard time finding wigs for a particular doll, it means I will probably not play with that doll too much, which sometimes leads to not keeping that doll.

 

It seems I missed a lot with all my trips >_< So many gorgeous boys and girls here!

BTW, we met Reina-chan today, but I have no idea what my Shiro was doing at that moment ^^;

For me, I had problem with Maki

He got a gorgeous face up. But nothing fit him, everything covers up his eyes or made him look odd. I just cannot get him to look like my F38's younger brother. So I abandon the idea of having three brothers and sold him

 

I have that problem with my F38!

My F38 currently owns that Hijikata Wig :-) I used to have a lot of problem with him too.

 

I have this same problem...that is why so many of my dolls sit untouched. Like Anavel stated, this was a major issue with Maki thus he is no longer a part of my family. (_ _)

Wig fit hasn't been a big issue with Fabian, but wig style has. I've been looking for a single part black wig with chunky dark blond streaks starting right at the part for a couple of years now. You'd think that would be an easy one to find, but it weirdly isn't :/. I did get a Leeke wig recently for him that was just way too long in the bangs, even for a Leeke wig *sigh*. But that is a wee head he's got. I've squeezed him into an MSD wig before!

 

Some Leeke wig really run HUGE on certain dolls so it looks more like a hat/helmet than a wig LOL. I always buy size 9-10 inch from Leeke and some of them really have this problem.

Aaaahhhh Hasekura is just delicious! I have no money though, so hopefully I can just avoid most mention of him so I can avoid pining. (Maybe one day off of the marketplace things will work out). He is definitely the kind of doll I go for, and I had a second of 'damn, if I hadn't bought/seen Shiro first', but that went away quickly because I'm still in love with my Shiro haha. I think I'll just have drown my sorrows by buying some outfits (finally) for my SD17 boys instead~

Did Volks release the sword/gun optional hand for SD17 in the suntan? I was aware that Volks did optional hand orders for Shirou, but I'm unsure if he came with an option to order that particular hand part.

Shara, Yuffie's got a little bit of a mischievous expression on her face! I love that colour combo with the outfit, it really reminds me of something circus themed.
