Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     14. Wow, I had no idea people had such problems finding wigs for the Maki sculpt. Mine looked good in every single wig I ever bought her or stuck on her head.

    15. Is Dirty Ole Cougar no longer with us? I miss her already. She was a girl, so of course finding wigs was easier. Boy wigs look more boyish on girl dolls than they do on boy dolls.

    17. I've actually sold all of my SD sized dolls aside from my Peroth to better fund my uhhhh obsession with those weepy Norse gods from the Avengers. I never thought something would come along that laughed in the face on my doll collecting and went "Hey, this is more expensive and you WILL do it!" I had also been paying them less and less attention and really gotten more involved with my MSD's. Until they eventually give in and release Tsukasa again, and I will cave like a caving cave.

      I will always look fondly on the dirty cougar wishing she could play the Mrs. Robinson to Rainey's Dustin Hoffman, though.

      You know, I've never thought about it, but stereotypically guy wigs do tend to look more butch on female dolls than do on guy dolls. Really ancient photo example

    18. They do-- especially at Volks, where many of the good boy haircuts are in the Dollfie Dreams section. Wig androgyny seems to operate backwards compared to clothing. The shorter the hair I put on my Yukinojo, the girlier he looks. I don't think I've ever considered Adrian in anything shorter than waist-length. ^^ A most curious phenomenon.

      And you KNOW Tsukasa will get rereleased one of these days-- not If, but When! He may come in chibi form or in SD17 form, but one way or another he's gotta be a-comin'. So tuck a thousand-dollar bill behind your sofa cushions, like, now.



      (PS. The caption on that photo of Rainey and Dirty Ole Cougar was: "Come with me. I have candy. I also have a PS3. The PS3 is made of candy." :XD: Which I think was a direct quote!)

    20. Kim - Definitely will miss pictures of your Bianka. She was the snarkiest looking Bianka! Everyone else's has a mild expression and are quite girly and yours had amazing 'criminal mastermind' eyebrows going on. I hope whoever has adopted her knows she has a mean streak!

      I've finally tracked down SD13 heel feet for my girls, so Deryn can wear her high heel boots for the first time ever. I've also got an SD13 body on layaway for my Volks Rose, so she won't be a floating head anymore. So pleased!

      I am also madly in love with an Orangebabydolly bracelet on eBay. I bust my own limit bidding on it and I am forcing myself not to watch or go near eBay until the auction has ended otherwise I'm going to make myself a pauper. I don't normally go this gaga, but I have wanted some OBD jewellery for a while but I kept missing the auctions!

      No more spending for me!
