  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     2. Unfortunately, that probably won't be the case. :( Though FIT is where the event is taking place it is FDQ and Volks who are hosting it. The only way you can go is if you applied on the Volks USA blog during the appropriate time and are both a FDQ subscriber and Volks USA member or if someone who has an invite brings you as a guest (though it might be too late for late as well since the RSVP date has come and gone).

      The RSVP date is the 15 of next month, at first I thought it was june, but I looked on my invite and it says july. So, I'd start beggin' for someone to take you as a guest ASAP!! lol

    6. Yeah, when you RSVP you have to give the name of your guest. I totally thought it said June 15 too. O_O But it really does say July. I'm kind of surprised. But you'd still have to find someone who would be willing to put your name down. Might not be too difficult.

      For me I am not interested in a SD16 girl she would certainly be to large for me and my doll family though I will enjoy seeing her in person. Lucky for me I wasn't attending just to get her (the limited one) though.

      I'm just basically floored that Volks would unveil not only a totally new sculpt, but a new line, at the tea!
      For the LA tea, they re-issued three very popular girls, so I was just going with the thought that the exclusive girl would be a re-issue.

    15. Wow is right Michelle! I was sworn to secrecy regarding details on this gorgeous girl, but now that pictures are posted, I gotta say she's really tempting me. I thought I'd be safe, because I passed on getting "Joe", so why would I want a girl in that scale? But ooooooooh, she's a knock-out!

      As to her availability, we'll be able to see a display doll, but you won't have to worry about lugging a hugh, heavy, box home with you. You'll pay for her at the event, and the dolls will be delivered in September. My understanding is that its going to be kind of like at the Japanese Dolpa's, where the dolls are made after the ordering takes place.

    16. This is kind of disappointing and I wish I knew this in advance. Some of us travelliing in from afar were really looking forward to bringing home a new dollfie and would have not minded ONE BIT. I went to a Dolpa and brought home all of the LE's I wanted and didn't have to wait....Alex

    18. That's really disappointing in my opinion. Is that really what's going to happen, Juli? At all Dolpas you can buy the event dolls there and take them home, but if that's true then it looks like this will be a preorder only..

    20. Actually, not all Dolpas have enough dolls there for everyone. I know for a fact that at the Dolpa where Heath was released, they ran out of dolls at Dolpa and took orders which were then filled later. In that case, people were able to purchase Heath at the After Event before the people who'd preordered him at Dolpa received him. So, this isn't completely without precedent. And the Tea Party seems to be a different sort of function from a regular Dolpa, and I guess they wanted to focus on other things there. I can understand the disappointment, though. *nods*
