1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Waiting Times?

Jul 16, 2015

    1. My longest wait time was seven months for a Doll Chateau body through MoC. The shortest was definitely when I ordered from Resinsoul directly. Soon I'll be getting a doll secondhand and it will only take two days, lol!

    2. Longest so far (and hopefully the longest I'll ever have to wait *crosses fingers*) was from DZ ordered through MoC which was exactly 6 months to the day. Funny enough, that long wait wasn't for a doll or doll parts but just for an SD carrier. I had another DZ order 2 years before (also through MoC) that was roughly 4.5 months which was for a blank full doll. To be fair, I think that order was held up a bit because there was also a mecha arm from Ringdoll in that order and they were running a lengthy backlog at the time.

Fastest full doll (including face-up) is a tie between RS (Pixiu in one order and 2 Bao's in another) and Sugarble (Adrian naga). Both orders were about 5 weeks from the time I placed the order to when they arrived on my doorstep. What's even more impressive to me is that the RS Pixiu and the Sugarble naga were both ordered during Xmas events (different years) so I was expecting a wait time of at least 2 months because of the event as well as the season (Xmas) and because I'd ordered them with face-ups (the Pixiu also has full body blushing).

    3. Seems like you guys have had quite an amount of waiting :o I would be absolutely devastated if I really wanted a doll but couldn't have her until 6 months later. I heard Fairyland has a 4 month waiting time. Good lord, I want a Minifee, but the wait would kill me. My first doll took exactly a month. It was perfect.

    4. My longest so far was my Doll Family-H ZhiYan, at 7 months. I did a 6 month layaway through MoC, and paid her off at a little over 5 months. I think the wait was long cause they were discontinuing sculpts at the time, plus she came with a free faceup.
My shortest was my first doll - Magical Angel Eric...he took not even a month. I was surprised, cause I was just starting out in the hobby and had heard so many stories about long waits. haha.

    5. Same here! I was super surprised when I found my doll on my porch! I ordered her on March 30 and she arrived the 29th of April. It was so quick! Hoping my IH JID ships next week..

    6. My longest wait was form DZ through MOC at 6 months. Thought I was never going to buy a DZ doll again, but just recently ordered one. It looks like it might be a 4-5 month wait.
My shortest was from Lee-el for their Tin Man. It only took about a month, which was fantastic!

    7. I'll be honest... I don't actually remember the wait times for most of my dolls, and definitely not in any strict detail. The only one where I remember having an unusually long wait was for a particular GO that was... well, let's just call a travesty a travesty. It took a long time to decide on the details of the sculpt, then to get it looking right in the sample photos, then it arrived the wrong size and had to be remade, and then the GO organizer disappeared as soon as she got the second batch of heads (which never looked quite as good as the original sculpt) and our shipping payments, and had to be threatened with legal action to actually ship anything. That one ended up being about a year, I think? But I can't remember for sure.

But the rest of them. A few months? Six months? Eight? I have no idea! Once they're here, the wait time is irrelevant, because they're here and it's time to start working on making them uniquely mine.

    8. I waited 8 months on 3 Lati dolls :) I'm currently on 6 months waiting for 4 more!

    9. Though I have five dolls, the longest I've waited is two months, and that was for my Luts Salgoo. It's because my Luts doll is the only doll I actually ordered from the company itself. As for the others, two of my dolls were already in-stock from Mint On Card and the other two were bought secondhand. So yeah...I've never really had to *wait* lol!

    10. I have been waited for doll orders for 7-8 months because of the company's errors, etc. But still...I wasn't disappointed, when my dolls arrived.

    11. I waited 3 months for my DZ Hong
