1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Was your first doll a boy or girl? - Part 2

Dec 28, 2018

    1. My first was a girl. My island Amy.
I bought several more girls after then before I bought my first boy. Ironically I now own boys and girls equally. I didn't plan it that way but it just happened that way.

    2. My first one was a girl. Iplehouse KID Lonnie. All my dolls (only 3 so far and one on the way) are girls. But I do want boys. I just haven't found a lot of boys in my scale that I like.

    3. My first doll was a girl and I've had quite a few girl dolls since then. I only really have one boy doll and a male floating head, so I guess I prefer girl dolls in general, especially from Volks. However, if I was to start the hobby all over again or willing to branch out, I probably would get Iplehouse dolls and they would probably be mostly boy dolls. Hahaha. :XD:

    4. My first doll was a boy. Iplehouse EID Victor. (I sold him more than a year ago)

    5. My first was a girl, Dreamingdoll Misora, but I sold her head a few months after purchasing her because I just couldn't bond with her and I found a Narae 412 in the second hand market that I really loved.
I think I prefer girls over boys cause I find very different girls equally pretty or gorgeous but I'm a lot pickier when it comes to guys and I only really like manly males xD

    6. My first bjd was a boy, had him since 2008 didn't buy another doll until 2010 a little 1/4 girl and and then in 2013 went dollie crazy and ever since my first doll has always been my favorite I would never trade him or get rid of my sweetie :kitty2

    7. my first doll was a girl but i seen after ordered a boy doll to go with her

    8. My first doll was a boy, and so was my second. The third doll I'm looking to pick up is a girl but mostly I have boy characters planned.

    9. My first was female. Now many years later, I own roughty an equal number of male and female dolls.

    10. Mine was a boy. Since then I have had both, but still prefer boys

    11. My first doll was a boy!

    12. My first quickly became a girl in my hands, tho speaking with the previous owner proved them to be a boy before me.
I have 5 girls, one nonbinary child, and am on the hunt for a grail boy. (Luts El, I love you so)

    13. My first was a girl, and I currently own all girls, though I have had one boy in the past. I ended up selling him because I never did anything with him. I find girls to be much more fun to shop for, dress, and take pictures of.

    14. My first BJD will be a handsome boy. (Still saving money...) :love
At the moment I don't want girls, only boys. I'm not sure if that will ever change... ;)

    15. My first doll was technically anthro so she could have been anything, but I made her into a girl because it just seemed to fit her character best. :love

    16. My first doll was a boy, but I bought him some girls' clothes because his face is very malleable and can be easily manipulated in both boy's and girl's styles.

    17. Boy! I plan on only getting boys or non binary dolls though. I find them super cute! <3

    18. My first doll was, and is, a boy. Strangely enough, despite my wishlist once being ALL boys, he remains the only one right now! The rest of mine currently are all girls or nonbinary people.

    19. My first was a girl, my second was a girl, and my third was a boy. Now I have a couple more girls than boys, but all who represent adults are equally mixed, boys and girls.

    20. My first doll was a boy, and all my dolls are boys despite me really wanting a girl doll. I just never really found a girl sculpt that caught my eyes at first sight.
