1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Was your first doll a boy or girl?

Jun 17, 2014

    1. My first doll is going to be a girl. I already have a name, rough backstory outline, and style picked out for her. I just have to find the perfect doll to match what I have always been looking for and that is a bit challenging I am finding. I do tend to prefer female dolls because I find them more attractive and they normally have a larger wardrobe and style choices to choose from, but I do still enjoy male dolls as well. My second doll will be a male doll, but he is my female doll's companion and she is really my star.

    2. My first doll was a girl and my planned next dolls are also girls. I would like a boy someday, but I haven't found one I've really clicked with yet.

    3. Girls. Always girls first.

    4. My first was a girl! Then the next 3 were all boys LOL.
I tend to like more boys around, but girls get spoiled more :3 โ™ก

    5. My first doll is a girl and the planned next two will be girls. I do plan on getting a boy after I get my other two but I worry about being able buy clothes for him. There is so much more out there for girls.

    6. My first doll is a boy, but I only have my girl doll with me. I left my boy with my family, but I want to bring him with me.

    7. Mine was a boy, and will probably be the only one. I'm very hard to please when it comes to boys dolls, but girl dolls are my obsession :love

    8. My first doll was a girl but love boy dolls as well and just recently i have gotten my first boy and i totally love him to the core. After this one boy i am sure to be getting other boy sculpts, ^^

    9. My first doll was a boy, and to this day I only have one girl XD

    10. My first was a girl. ^^ I have more girls than boys in my collection now, too, just because there aren't many boy heads that I like out there.

    11. My first doll was a girl .. I dunno , but i really hard for bonding with boy dolls ..
      >.<
Everytime i got my boy , ending is i sell them ..

    12. I prefer boys over girls since growing up surrounded by lots of dolls (barbies etc) I sort of got fed up seeing girl dolls XD plus, it's more challenging to make clothes for boys rather that girls.

    13. My first doll was a girl doll and they continue to be girls for the most part.

    14. My first doll was a girl, and the one I have on the way is a girl as well. As are... probably all the human/humanoid dolls in my wishlist, haha. I haven't actually gone looking at boy sculpts yet to see which ones I like because I'll probably only ever have one boy, all the other characters I want to shell are girls. I do have other male characters but only one is particularly significant to me that I'd want to spend that much money to have him in resin form, you know? When I get around to buying a boy doll I'll go looking at the sculpts and see how that goes, but for the most part it'll be girls only over here, haha.

    15. My first two dolls were boys, but now I'm partial to girls. Both are nice, but girls have more interesting clothes and wigs imo. Plus there are more girl sculpts I like.

    16. My first doll is on his way right now. lol I'm kinda surprised that even back in high school (so, for like 10 years now), I had this immediate need for a boy doll. I love the female dolls and all the cute dresses and accessories and after him, I plan on getting a little MSD girl who I can make into my cute little unicorn, but for some reason, I just wanted an SD boy first. So, now he's coming, and even though I'm saving up for his clothes and props and things, I keep making props and clothes for my future girl (I've started on a little cloth doll and I finished a skirt)!

    17. My first doll is a Boy. I also prefer boys but I still would like at least one female doll so I can make her fluffy dresses.

    18. er... my first full doll was a girl but I first bought a floating head XD that was a boy

    19. I went into the hobby knowing that I would want to have a girl doll first (though, at the time I was thinking I would only want to have one doll and now I am rethinking that). I think I just have more fun styling and sewing for her than I would if I had a male first.
