1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Was your first doll a boy or girl?

Jun 17, 2014

    1. My first doll was a Realpuki, which are more or less designed without gender, but mine is a boy. And my second doll is heading home now and it's another boy. Though I have plans for 2 girls in the future as well. I like both and I think I'll either end up half and half.

    2. My first doll will most likely be a girl (IslandDoll Ivy or Aggie, depending on who I want to shell first), unless I go gonzo and spring for those lovely Granado heads available now.

    3. My first doll was a boy, and so are thirteen of my fifteen dolls. Of the two girls, I only bought one, the other was free. XD

People mention clothing options, but I much prefer boys clothes, in real life and on dolls.

    4. My first floating head (getting a body soon) was a boy! Although he took a while to tell me his gender lol

    5. My first doll can be a girl or a boy. It's a LumeDoll moon, but I haven't received it yet. It's waiting for me under the Christmas tree. I haven't decided yet if it will be a male or a female character.

    6. My first was a girl. I can't imagine myself doing much with male dolls tbh

    7. My first doll was a male sculpt (DIM Ace) but I painted her as a female because I just prefer a girl crew :)

    8. My first doll was a girl. I'm thinking about adding a boy to my collection but... I can't find the right sculpt so I continue my reshearchs ^^

    9. My first doll was a girl and I can't imagine ever getting a male doll. (Although batchix's clever little almost tempted me so I guess it could happen)

    10. My first doll was a boy. But I dunno, it was hard finding clothes for him to be honest, there's so many dresses and tops and skirts for girls that I found buying clothes for my girls a lot easier.

    11. Girl! I've always had girl dolls, even the ones who dress more androgynously--I honestly don't know what I would do with a boy. I haven't ruled one out, though I don't have any sewing patterns that would really work for a guy.

    12. I have mainly girls, but Im definantly looking for some more mature sexy boys for my beautiful ladies

    13. Girl. I'm planning on getting a boy, but I feel it's much easier to find wings and clothes for girls than for boys.

    14. My first doll was a boy - RS Wu.
I currently have 26 boys and 16 girls. I realised as I was counting that I don't have any SD size girls at all.

    15. I was certain that my first BJD would be a girl, but both my first full doll and floating head were male! :XD: I definitely prefer male dolls over female dolls.

    16. I was insistent that my first doll would be an msd size boy. Turned out to be a tiny anthro girl ... The following 3 have been boys none have been as big as an msd though! :XD:

    17. my First doll was a Little Monica; Sofia. But I bought her as a male. So I’m not really sure XD

    18. My first dallis is a boy, and i also prefer boy dolls.

    19. A girl, then bought her a brother soon after.

    20. My first doll that I had was a girl, I ended up giving her away and now I prefer boy dolls:drool
