Another cheshire owner here, hope you'll welcome me into the grinning kitty club ;D You can see Charlie in my icon ^_^ I love love LOVE the new dark cheshire, he's amazing ;o; I didn't actually notice/realise he had a dragon on his head, I thought it was meant to be a bloody gash, as he looks like a zombie... maybe I'm right and you can all somehow see a dragon ;D Or maybe I suck at being observational? xD heehee
Ok just double checked, its definitely a dragon's wing - maybe it's a hint at the jabberwocky? Now I think he's extra cool :O
Aaah, sorry all for long silence! Still moving in- it's going to take WEEKS, but the internet connection seems to want to rival the moving in process. I remembered Dollzone created about a Dealer selling event items but it was because the event items were given to the dealer to use with current stock, rather than bought in with new stock. (it seems a fine line, but it was enough). There was ANOTHER company i deal, on the other hand, that got furious about an Agent selling event items and actually cut them loose for it. I just got the two mixed up So Dragon Babies can be enjoyed guilt free, as they should because they're ADORABLE! Miss Lozpie- Charlie is a darling! Any more pics of him? Looks like a few of us will get the new Dark Cheshire so you can see some pics as soon as he starts shipping! And I can see how you might mistake that wing, it's nt e the first thing you assume on an evil cat head!
Something random I just noticed.... Open up your cheshire's head and check out the top of the faceplate, between the eyes. There's a bit of resin that sticks out, and it has a hole through it. Why O_O What's it for? any ideas? o.o
miss lozpie, my star cheshire doesn't have this so it might be something patrticular to the original cheshires. Otherwise the first thing that came to mind is that it might be the remainder of a sanded down mould riser point for the resin casting. Anyone else with an original cheshire have any ideas?
My basic cheshire has it. It looks like you could attach an s hook to it. Since there is a magnet now, its not needed, but will come in handy if you lose the magnet.

Hello there! i have just ordered my first Cheshire and I have a quick question if that is ok? I have paid in full, but it says Receipt of credit payment. What does that mean? Also, how long does it usually take before you have the little kitty in your mitts? Sorry if this has been asked before, and thank you for listening.
Hi Little-Saiyajin if you look under Product Details on the Pipos site for listings for both the white and grey basic Cheshire you'll see "Shipping date : needs 25 ~ 30 working days". In other words, bar any public holidays that may occur during that time you're looking at 5-6 weeks. For the basic Star cheshire it's a little longer - 30 to 40 working days, so 6-8 weeks (mine took 6 weeks). Hope that helps
I wasn't too fond of the cheshire molds at first, but after continuing to look over the database, the ones posted here, and those pesky limiteds, I've found that yes, indeed I do want one. XD I'd love a shy cheshire, but I'm trying not to get too fond of the idea since he's been long sold out. I suppose I could check the marketplace just to see if one ever shows up, but I know other people are wanting Shy, too. I think I will get a basic, and probably the white - I'd like to make him up like an orange tabby, though the grey with default faceup is rather tempting as well. I didn't think I saw this mentioned in the thread, but how different are his measurements from the other Pipos anthro dolls like Bao, Baha, Curo, etc? I'm just wondering if he can share clothes with anyone else.
Glad they've grown on you! And trust me, you get one and it will grow on you even more XD The limiteds are RARE. Not the kind of Soom Limited Rare... with Pipos it seems only people that actually want them get them, and never give them up- and when thye do it's for a lot of money. I initially wanted to collect all the Cheshires... but after hunting for them, I decided against it. The bodies of all the Pi sized Pipos are all the same, so they can share. Though I;m not sure about the tails... they don't have mag on tails, they're strung on and you have to kind of sew around them... Good luck on your Cheshire decision! Let us know how it goes!
Oh man - I wondered, since they're rather unique. I kick myself for going on a 'doll hiatus' a few months before their initial release. I'd really like Shy, since he looks a lot like one of my actual cats, but I may try to convince myself not to get to into the idea of having him so I don't wind up disappointed. XD I can always hope they release another limited cheshire I like, too, I suppose, and perhaps get a basic to curb my desire. I'm glad they're all the same size! I think a big reason I don't own any human dolls anymore was because it was difficult to find clothes sometimes due to the size differences between companies. D: Still, who knows - I may add another human back at some point, but my real love is for anthros. The tail thing won't be too bad, since I have to keep that in mind for Bao. I love the segmented tail. Thanks for the lengthy response, Lillykitten! I'll be sure to stick around the thread. ^^
Oh I'm with you on the love of the Shy Cheshire, he is my fave too out of Joky, Moody and Shy. I'm a bit like you in that I didn't really like the cheshires when they were first released but now I LOVE them crazily!!!
Gee that is not a bad turnaround time, 6 weeks! I am so used to companies that take months (grumble grumble Lati grumble grumble).
