So... I caved and bought a white basic cheshire to customize. I'm so excited. I've already been out to Hobby Lobby to buy some things I need to start this weekend. What I hope doesn't happen is I open the box, see how lovely he looks without any modifications, and then decide not to do a thing with him. >_>;

Well, he arrived today: And...he's already been violated. Once I do some chemistry homework, I plan to remove his eyes and spray on a layer of Testor's to prepare for MODIFICATIONS. *overly dramatic voice*
Thanks, Divadionne! Upon further examination, I made a disturbing discovery. His teeth can be removed. This was probably kind of obvious, but I just didn't think about it until I took a closer look inside his head after removing the eyes.

Yes, I'm almost sad to modify him because he looks so nice in his basic faceup. I ordered him from the Denver Doll Emporium, actually, so once I paid I received him two days later since it's only two states away from me.

Definitely. They keep some dolls (usually basics) in stock. I'm really impressed by the faceups for the basics. I liked the grey one, too, but I decided to go with white, since he'll be modified anyway. Ooh, star is nice, too - I just preferred the smaller eyes. ^^
Yeah I think it's the eyes on the regular cheshire that I love the most, so cheeky looking. Oh the grey is beautiful too, I like the red around the eyes. Gosh what a surprise about the teeth coming out! I love the little first aid box in your pic, too funny! XD
CHEEKY was the EXACT word I would use to describe him! I guess it's good I took them out, since I wound up spraying him with Testors a little while ago. XD Still though, kind of strange. XD The first aid box actually has some miniature prescriptions in it.

I can't remember where the miniatures are from exactly - they're some Japanese randomized gacha like thing. Other possibilities for things you could get were a house cleaning kit, beauty supplies, etc. ^^ Also, my cheshire, Meronshire, is finished!
I can't believe I have never posted in this thread! I love the Cheshire's cheeky eyes and I realize Cheshire is way more popular than Star Cheshires... But there is no reason not to show off my cute little hobocat: Star Cheshires are cute in a totally different way. :>
