  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Things are gradually falling into place for my first project, attempting to-- I guess shell is the term I've been seeing used here? -- my main Lord of the Rings Online character. I'm expecting the body to arrive fairly soon, but finding the right head is slow-going. (At least once her body gets here, I can get a start on clothing and accessories and get a better look at her neck and shoulders...)

    3. I'm planning a winter dolly wedding for my two main characters! Yuna and Kai just got engaged, and now I have to buy a suit and gown....plus a bridesmaid dress for their adopted daughter, who I will get on Christmas. It's gonna be expensive....but so awesome!

    4. Today I'm thinking of shuffling around the characters I'm shelling. There's one character I'm thinking of shelling, though she may be a bit of a challenge due to her fantasy parts (horns/ears/tail are easyish; not sure about her legs, which become creature-like at the calves- I may have to skip those). It also looks like my first three dolls will be from IslandDoll, haha...

    6. At this point, I want to continue to improve my wig-making skills so that my crew can have some more wigs just for fun...

      The main thing I'm doing is trying to not need to drain the dolly fund, so I can save for my next boy! Last time I started saving up money, my computer died and I had to replace it!

      I'm getting a wig for him for Christmas (though I'll have to make him a hard-cap wig once I do have him so that he can have an undercut-- I'll be practicing by making a shaved-side asymmetrical one for Pete), and I've got a pair of leggings for him that I got on my birthday (that Pete is borrowing until then)... Just basically slowly making/accumulating stuff for him when I'm able, but putting most of my fun money towards actually getting the boy.

    7. I've neglected my poor boys for so long that now I want to spoil them. I have enough pants for now, but maybe I could start by making them different shirts according to their styles, more clothes are never a bad thing to have. I've also ordered some eye molds and I'm going to start learning to make eyes, so I don't have to go hunting for the perfect color everytime I want a change. And to top all that off, I have to learn how to do faceups when my blank head gets here... It's going to be a lot of work, but in the end I enjoy it, so it doesn't matter :)

    8. I'm waiting on my first doll to come in the mail and I'm so excited to give her a faceup !! I've already got all the supplies for it ready. I'm lucky that I'm an artist so I already know how to paint and use pastels so I have kind of an advantage ^^ I'm also having my dad build me a bedroom diorama for her !

    9. My main focus/thing I want to do it get a body for my floating head and do my first faceup on them! I've found the body secondhand and hopefully paying for it next month when it arrives to the seller!

      • Finally sending Vàna to get her faceup
      • Searching for a Minifee FLAM (ws) head from the second-hand market
      • Ordering a Minifee M-line girl in beautiful white (to use the body for the FLAM head) and a Minifee M-line Mirwen in normal skin (waiting for the next event to order)
      • Making wigs for at least two girls
      • Buying small magnets for wig and fantasy parts
      • Placing an order for ED eyes
      • Selling MDR Ophelia and Zuri, Lillycat Chibbi Lanas, and Minifee Chloe and Soony Elf heads
      • Ordering an MSD doll house and furniture

I also have no dolls at the moment but I'll have my first bjd(head) soon!The first bjd I'm waiting for (fifth motif Venitu) I bought out of impulse :sweat but I'm sure he'll find a place somehow lol... I plan to buy a pygmalion doll Ha sculpt for a character I've always been longing to shell and then hybridizing it with a dollstown body! I'm eventually going to get myself some faceup supplies and stuff too, and for clothes I'm eyeing a lot of east asian regal like outfits *_*

    12. My plans right now: is to get my 2 sd girls new clothes which seems to be hard thing to get. I just want them to have new clothing to wear, more casual than anything else. Also I have to buy new eyes for them maybe Makoeyes.

      I'm also currently waiting 2 of them to get their face-up done, I'm super excited for that. I also have been planned to try to sewn clothing. And I did some small things.

    15. Will be creating outfits for my YoSDs. I've just ordered a body for my SD, and that would take a while since that'll be from Dollzone. I also want to make yarn wigs for him, so probably should buy a hair straightener.

    17. I lovehate when my plans derail themselves. I had my heart set on starting my collection with IslandDoll Ivy or Aggie, but the Granado heads that are available (the angel guys) are calling to me. :sigh That literally doubles my money needs for the heads alone (thinking of getting two heads if possible), and then I have to figure out how to grab cheaper bodies that still match the heads... eyeballing Popodoll bodies, but still, that's going to take a while. I'm going to laugh if I end up shelling the two guys I nearly forgot about before my "main girls." (Still love those guys though, or I wouldn't shell them.)

      ...This means I probably have to shell Eiran's (one of the guys being Granado-headed) daughter, too! Augh! So many plans...

    19. At this point I'm just planning on getting them all shoes, clothes, wigs and face-ups.
      Once they're all basically 'complete' I will probably want to make some better outfits but I really don't want to start altering already 'finished' dolls before they are all at least presentable. :XD:

    20. My focus is definitely on wardrobe! I would like more "historical" looks, and some modern pieces with similar colours or flare. I think this is a holdover from when I was actively collecting American Girl. *laughs*
