1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

What Are You Proud Of?

Mar 14, 2019

    1. Today, I'm proud of ridding myself of the fear of sewing and sewing machines! I've done more over the last few days, and I've made my first functional pair of doll PJ pants this afternoon!! :whee:

I didn't quite follow the pattern instructions, I had to unpick the entirety of the first attempt, some of the seams could be neater, and the waist could do with being brought in a bit, but I am still so proud of myself and them!

    2. I'm ba-ack - but I really wanted to brag a little! Today, I finished the faceup for Sano, my Impldoll Glenn. That means that all 14 of my dolls have functional faceups, wigs, eyes, and outfits! I feel really good about that! I know I'll have to redo almost everything, but now I don't feel like I need to rush, and I can enjoy the WIPs more. And especially since I've "finished" all the major work at the beginning of spring, I feel like I've got a lot of time to play around with my dolls. I'm not sure how I'm going to start going over them again. Oldest to newest? Random draw? Who knows! But I'm excited for it!
