(bump) I want to get a bambi crony Gun. He is soo cute, but it seems it might be even harder to find cloths for a BOY in that size... and wings =P what is the site for cancan's wigs? I've not heard of it surprisingly... I might end up making most his cloths myself but still =P at least need a good wig sorce ^^ any place sell green wigs?
Cancan does sell green wigs! Here's the site: http://www.cancan-jseries.net/ BTW, Leeke wigs (at least this style) are too big -- I can make it fit with a safety pin in the wigcap, but it's still a bit oversized on her. The Cancan 6" wig fits much better. I'd go for a 5-6" wig with an elastic cap, or a 6" wig, more than a 6-7", IMHO. Hope this helps! -- Andi
also, there's lots of good folks in the marketplace here who sell wigs that'll fit. i've been eyeing Tinybear's wigs for a while now, and i want just about every color she has available--my problem is trying to narrow it down now! (shameless plug for someone else!)
My Lotti wears Ginny, Ken, Pullip, Barbie, Bleeding Edge Goth, the new Holly Hobbie, Yo-SD, Groovy Girls, and Franklin Mint Anastasia clothes. I have to take up the FM Anastasia clothing, and the Barbie and Pullip clothes need to be the stretchy and larger ones. Enjoy your BC! They're lovely little ones.
I've been trying my Ann Estelle outfits on my new Bambicrony--the answer is a complicated 'yes and no'. The outfits are generally the right scale, though Ann Estelle is wider. I tried several dresses on my Bambicrony--and if I used a safety pin instead of the buttons, snaps, etc, it looked okay. I'd think you could use AE patterns, and just make them slimmer. The leeke clothes fits very nice ^^ I do have a little school set from leekeworld on my bambicrony, it is almost like the outfits fits better on the bambicrony than on the leeke o.O
Has anyone found more sources for outfits and shoes? Tinybears wigs are adorable! They should be able to wear Volks SDC (Super Dollfie Cute) wigs too, since Yo-SDs can wear those, and they seem to have the same headsize to me...
What about Cheerydoll USA? Don't they sell clothes for them, too? Are there anymore places to buy the dolls? I'd assume they would sell the clothes, too. I know Luts use to, but they don't have the dolls on there website anymore I'd have to agree for more praises for Tinybear wigs! I have one tiny for my SO Ui and one for my Obitsu.
I bought a bunch of stuff at Amelie Tailor/Sugar Mag when I was in Hong Kong...she's been posting things on her website pretty regularly recently. Here's the verdict: Some things work...Bambicrony has big hands. I had to take off Melodiya's hands for "Gypsy of the World" and "The Dutchess" because the sleeves were so narrow. "Green Celebration" worked great, but was short, as AreeElf said.
