1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

What Clothes Wigs fit BambiCrony?

Jun 1, 2006

    1. hahahaha:lol: WORD....

    2. Hey - Yuki made me buy the Leeann school outfit. I guess I reached my limit on how times I saw its cuteness but resisted buying it!

And BTW - if anyone makes clothes with cotton, something handy are the individual "fat quarters" of cotton quilting fabric at Joanne's. A couple of days ago they were on sale for 99 cents instead of $1.49. I know it's probably still more than buying a regular quarter-yard, but at least you get a more useful shaped piece of fabric (maybe 18x20?). They have many quarters individually wrapped as flat squares and ordered in a rack by their predominant color. It makes it easy to browse a particular color.

    3. There's a lot of links and info on getting frilly dresses and whatnot for BCs in this thread, but anyone have more info on boy clothing? D: As cute as it is for my Sleeping Gun to run around in SD13 sized clothing, it'd be nice to find some actual boy clothing his size without having to commission it specifically :X

    4. For male clothes, Ken (barbie) clothes are an almost perfect fit. I can't swear to the length of pants since I think Ken's legs are longer, but tops and shorts definitely fit. You could always roll up the extra length of long pants too.

    5. for realz yo.

Carolyn: That's good to know! I guess when I end up buying my Cookie I'll go check out joanne's for fabric! thanks! oh and I have a friend working there now so maybe she can get me a discount if I give her the money.

Twiggy: try eluts. they have a cute boy's outfit for bambicrony there.

Celesse: or hem them up if they're just crazy long...
I'll have to see what I can find in barbie clothes as well I guess... see if I can find stuff for them.

    6. She did??:) :aheartbea
Now they will be in the same school.:love

      Hehehe, No doubt..

    7. There's one Ken doll that comes with a small surfboard (boogie board?) and really great shorts (plus some surfing pants and shirt). The nice pair of tan shorts have a chain on the pocket (usually hidden by the shirt when packaged). I have seen several Bambicrony boys wearing those shorts. It's called (Barbie) Cali Guy Blaine - there may be different versions - look for the full set with the surfboard because the smaller version (doll and what its wearing) does not have the cool shorts.

They are a bit loose on BC so they ride low but they look like something a boy would wear. (though my girl insisted on having a pair)

And here you can see some BC boys wearing both of the shorts that come with the set:

    8. There is a big sale on the 2005 READY FOR BED (not 2006) and READY FOR THE WEEKEND outfits at the Leeann site (about 1/2 price) - http://www.leeann.ca

(edit - sorry for two posts in a row)

    9. I got a pair of Ken trousers off Ebay the other day, and they arrived yesterday and fit perfectly. I'm not entirely too sure which outfit they're from, but they said 'Royal' in the title.

    10. Thanks for the links and advice on boy clothes~ I'll check things out and see how things go. :3

    11. I think someone posted somewhere that the Leeann boy outfit was a bit big on BC. I'll try to find that message...

And here is a photo of one outfit that is on sale (that is a whole slip dress onder the denim overdress).

Also - I received the Groovy Girls set of T-shirts and tank top with words on them. (I ordered them before I knew these shirts could fit tightly on slim minis). They are pretty loose on BC but I think they will be usable if I move the velcro.

    15. Watch out for those dark colored kimonos from Oriental Boutique! A friend and I have had issues with only the dark colored kimonos staining our BJDs. We were able to get it off with Mr. Clean Magic Eraser though.

    16. Thanks for the heads up.:aheartbea

    17. AreeElf - Is there anywhere to get doridoripoppy clothes other than Yahoo Japan? That Loli kimono is yummy.

DragonDavy - Yuki looks lovely and I saw her in the Customer Gallery at BC too.

Birju_Lachi - Thanks for the warning about the Oriental Boutique kimonos! Is there a thread or info elsewhere about that, or did it happen to you? I wonder if they can be washed or other ways staining could be prevented?

And EVERYBODY - Does anyone recognize THIS DRESS!!!! eeeeeee

    18. I bought the kimono out of someone selling in the marketplace. I didn't get it from Yahoo Japan. They are pricey though.

I'm on the lookout for a yo sized kimono by miwa

    19. It happened to me and a friend. Oriental Boutique lives locally to me so I see them at doll shows here all the time. I haven't treated the hakama and kimono I have but I now only put them on the dolls for a short amount of time like for a meet-up for just that day or to take pics and then take them off.
