In what areas did your doll get stained? I am wondering if some type of underdress would help. Carolyn
With the hakama, it was the legs since the tops are usually white/off white with a darker bottom. With the kimono, it was around the arm holes of the sleeves and shoulder area.
Thank you Carolyn. Yeah, I wanted to show BC. I went out and bought some Barbie clothes and only a few things fit.
that's a barbie outfit?!?!?! oh i'm so going to go buy that soon if it's still around... T_T I'll go to Toys R Us and look through the barbie stuff...
KeikoChan - nothing recently discussed was identified as a Barbie outfit. Yuki's Kimono is an Ann Estelle kimono from Oriental Boutique on Ebay. AreeElf's photo is a doridoripoppy kimono from the Marketplace (usually from Yahoo Japan I think) The last Barbie item shown was two pages ago - the coat on this page: http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?t=79154&page=6 I don't think anyone has identified the dress in the Owner's Gallery photo that I linked to: http://www.bambicrony.net/board/view.php?board_name=DREAMBOARD11&choose2=&choose1=&pagenow=14&ID=31 Carolyn
i got lost in the all the quotes... i mixed up the outfit with the discussion on barbie's... i'm so sorry i was really tired last night... : but i wanna know where to get that outfit as well! it's not Bratz clothing is it?
I want it too!!! I don't think it's Bratz or Barbie - I think the fit on BC is too loose to be Bratz or Barbie. And the style is not Barbie-like. Unfortunately that owner Gallery photo was posted almost a year ago and I am unfamiliar with the owner. I would also guess the owner the Korean because there is Korean in the talk balloons. I was hoping someone would recognize the outfit or outfit style. http://www.bambicrony.net/board/view.php?board_name=DREAMBOARD11&choose2=&choose1=&pagenow=14&ID=31 Anyone know somebody who has owned a Kumi with Viya faceup for a year and named her Honey? The owner has a row of Kumi photos labeled "Honey" on this page: http://www.bambicrony.net/board/list.php?board_name=DREAMBOARD11&choose2=&choose1=&pagenow=14 Carolyn
Has anyone tried DollHeart's Blythe on a BC? I'm curious about the loose sweaters, mostly. Does anyone have a picture of a Blythe beside a BC?
Bambicrony posted the pictures, so it is probably made by DressyDoll. Sometimes they take pictures of customers' dolls before they ship them out, for examples.
Kitten - Why do you think Bambicrony posted the photo - do you know the person who posted it? Anyone who creates a login for the Bambicrony site can post their own Bambicrony photo in the Customer Gallery. I posted mine last week and a lot of DoA members have posted theirs. Spampy - That's adorable! Re Blythe.. There's a photo of BC with Barbie, My Scene, and Licca: http://images21.fotki.com/v515/photos/4/41847/4487541/comparison-vi.jpg Carolyn
I was in AC Moore and they have Madame Alexander clothes and shoes. Do the shoes fit BC? I didn't think so because they looked a bit short.
If you look at the top of your post, it says your name next to the date. Thats the name of the poster. That one is posted by Bambicrony, because they're name is at the top. Another example: This is my doll, but BC took and posted these pictures a week before they shipped her. It says Sarah for owner because she ordered it.
they look like they line right up but you know more than i do so i will trust your judgement. so only question left is Bratz Babies and Kids, do either of these work with Bambicronies? Bambi's are about 11 inches right? If someone has good measurements on them I could go check out the clothes while I'm out today or tomorrow.
Thanks Carolyn! Unfortunately, I have no idea how Blythe and Pullip compare to the other dolls pictured ^ ^;
For Blythe/Pullip on BC dolls look here: http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?t=116250 Someone started a thread on what sets fit BC dolls On Madame Alexander they have two doll lines that may fit BC. There's the Doll factory line and the 8in dolls. The 8 inch dolls are shorter and stouter than BC. The doll factory is slightly shorter. Some clothes fit but they are a bit short The Bratz kids fit the elfdolls more
Kitten - wow - so they used to dress and play with people's dolls before they shipped them?? Including outdoor photos? That's weird. And for whoever asked - there is one of those Madame Alexander dolls in the same photo with BC and Barbie: http://images21.fotki.com/v515/photos/4/41847/4487541/comparison-vi.jpg Re the Alexander doll clothes - if you select Search This Thread (above and right) and search for Alexander you can see some say they are too short and someone could not get BC's arms into the armholes. I imagine some things might be usable but sounds dicey. Carolyn
