What company deserves more love?

Kamikakushi thank you for recommending enchanted doll! I'd not heard of them and have been looking everywhere for good 8mm eyes. These look perfect!

 

Definitely Maskcatdoll. Although I have to admit that I am not very satisfied with the body, the sculpts are pure beauty and the price is relatively low. This is the only company so far that makes me add all of their girls to my wishlist

I agree completely that their customer service was excellent. Very personal and prompt.

I was very sad to see a very limited selection of posts about their larger dolls, especially their glamor Eve range. I understand its not for everyone, being very stylised, but I think that boldness is their charm, it really sets them apart.

From what I can tell, their doll quality at least stands up to -if not beats- other dolls I've seen or handled.

 

One company that I really like but which seldom gets talked about is Darak-I. Their dolls are beautifully finished and engineered so perfectly that the poses are held easily without hot glue or wires. After several years my YoSd size body finally needs a little help with wire or sueding if I don't restring her first. I have lot of hybrids and love their MSD and YoSd size bodies. I don't have the SD size but I'm sure I'd like it just as well. The YoSd is by far my favorite tiny body. Its a little taller and thinner than Luts and Fairyland with longer, thinner legs. And it poses beautifully. It's so cute! I'm not a fan of the large eyed sculpts but that's just a personal preference. The bodies make wonderful hybrids since the resin matches Dollzone normal pink.

 

Dollzone! They have the most unique and beautiful looking dolls. They're also affordable too!

 

I just got two dolls from Island Doll and I'm really happy with them. They were a great price and they shipped in beautiful boxes. Of all my dolls, these two are the easiest to pose and have the nicest feel to them - resin is smooth, not too heavy, but still feels solid. Love them!

 

I really love Pluto Dolls - they have lovely sculpts, the faceups are beautiful, and their customer service is really good too. And the packaging is the prettiest I've ever seen!

I believe Lillycat needs more recognition, I love her! She makes them by hand herself so its hard to get them sometimes ,face up wise,but she is my favorite of them all so far.

 

Yes, absolutely. My MSD Semy is such a pleasure to pose. I also liked that she came with a spare string and a nice little folio of photos of their other dolls. Also I really liked the short wait time - it only took 3 weeks from ordering until she arrived!

 

I love Doll Love! I ordered my dolls through Alice's Collections, so I don't know about their customer service, but the quality of the dolls is great!!

 

I've dealt directly w/Iplehouse (who've always been fabulous), Souldoll (ditto), & Dollmore. I love Dollmore service - have met representatives in person & they are beyond sweet

 

Doll Leaves!! They have such beautiful sculpts and the engineering of the teenage dream bodies is near on perfect!! The resin is smooth and heavy and all of the channels are drilled out nicely, they pose like a dream and they're so cheap!

I'm going to have to second Island Doll. They have so many great tan options, which is nice when most companies have tan, singular. And they do color matching to boot.

 

I'm here to second Little Monica and Impldoll. Little Monica's sculpts are so elegant, from the faces to the hands and feet, to the lovely shapes of the bodies. I'm hoping to add more from them in the future, they're the most beautiful dolls to my taste. The resin too is so beautiful! It has the same texture and weight as proper porcelain.
I love the variety Impldoll has! They have one of the widest array of faces, face types and body types! You can get a handsome, chiselled hunk or an elegant androgyne or a cute animesque baby and they have separate, unique aesthetics. The fantasy parts are also fun, and more affordable than some other companies.

 

In my opinion: MYOU, Bambicronby, Lina Chou-Chou, Rosenlied and Xaga/Asleep Aidelon. I hardly ever see anyone talk about or mention any of these when discussing Korean and Chinese companies, they seem to get constantly overshadowed by Fairyland, Luts, Resinsoul and Dollzone which is a shame because I love their sculpts.

 

I'll start off listing the ones I believe deserve some love that are already listed rather than going too much into detail, because others here have already gone over everything I would've stated, and I don't want to restate the same info.

So, here goes as follows: Impldoll (especially for wonderful customer service and custom color services), Resinsoul, Loongsoul (their posing engineering is great), Doll Leaves (same as Loongsoul), Little Rebel (awesome, unique sculpts), Magical Angel (too bad they went under, their bodies were extremely poseable).

And, for ones not yet mentioned:

Granado: the bodies are wonderfully (realistically) sculpted, sturdy, and Crocus Lee personally included a special little personal note with the body I bought from them, and I thought that was a wonderful touch. I feel like they're the more timely and organized version of Dollshe (they also use a similar packaging method for their box/foam insert designs to DS). By extension I'll give Legend Doll (the dealer I bought through) a shout-out for a wonderful purchasing experience as well, and making certain the body was packaged well before being shipped. Also great communication when you have inquiries, and smooth overall services.

Akagi: I've noticed they've been getting some recent attention, but I'd like to add them because the 66cm body I have has wonderful texture and heft to it while also being a great poser. They also ship their dolls/bodies in these wonderful travel totes that can accommodate a couple dolls at a time (depending on size).

Popodoll: Surprisingly poseable, nice resin quality and can pose right out of the box. I really feel they are underappreciated, and have really nice quality. And old Dollshe 18M heads fit on them (which was a difficult find with so many previous ones not working out at all in that size range, especially with those neck sockets).

Clover Singing (the dealer I got both the Akagi and Popodoll bodies through): good communication, shipping seems to be super fast through them versus other dealers I've dealt with (processing time is really quick, both the Akagi and Popodoll bodies were ready and shipped within a month!). Also, there's free shipping. FREE SHIPPING. In this hobby, when the shipping cost can come to as much as a third of the total of the purchase, this a nice little incentive. Plus, they are quick to post shipping notices via either their website or email, and provide the tracking number as soon as it's available. Overall great experience in the multiple purchases I've made with them. I'll definitely recommend them
