What fits an IpleHouse EID woman?

I've been meaning to post this for awhile now. Anyway, when i got my Luna I sold my only SD girl. I kept some of her clothing hoping they would fit and this is one of the things that fit her.


The top is Dollmore's Ribbon Choker Long T, it come in 3 differnt colors. Now it doesn't fit on EID women the same way, it's more of a shirt where as before i used it as a dress. I haven't tried the choker necklace that it came with the outfit but I have tried dollmore's Silver Lace Tiny Cross Choker which is what she is wearing now. However, it is a bit tight on but looks great.

When I get the chance i'll show off more stuff that fits her.

 

Just to add that the SID Miss Holiday fits nicely not only on the EID ladies,
but also the YID girls too

I'm just trying to find wigs and eyes for my Ashanti .
I only have 14-16mm eyes and 8-9" wigs
Looks like 10-12mm eyes and 7-8" wigs are the way to go for these ladies?

 

callum91 - as far as eyes I think Yur and Luna have bigger eye openings. I was using 14mms in my Luna.

7-8" wigs don't fit them. I already tried a few on my Luna and they're too small. 8" wigs might fit, otherwise using a wig cap helps make 8-9" wigs fit better.

 

Leekeworld wigs are far too big, but I got a limited edition wig for my Luna, so I'm stuck with it ;-;

 

Well the 8-9 wigs I have from IH don't fit, they fall straight off.
So I have a 7-8 wig on order from eBay(FM-Anime wig) , hopefully that will be stretchy enough.
I'd much prefer a really tight wig than a loose one.

Ah, Swazini-With the 14mm s I have, the iris takes up pretty much the whole eye D:
So I will have to try 12mm, if not 10mm.

 

callum - I forgot to mention that I had 11mm in my Jessica and they seemed the most realistic.

 

This is precisely it. Some people want wigs that are easy to put on and/or looks fluffy on the doll, while some people don't mind pulling on wigs with a bit of firmness to have the wig look sleek and proportional on the doll.

My husband bought a 8-9 IH wig for his Jessica, but she drowned in it - after buying the same wig in 7-8 she looks good again.

I have tried 7-8 wigs on a friend's Luna, and I put it on with ease.

 

I have to say, this is a helpful thread indeed! I'm getting a Jessica too (though it seems kinda weird for there are so many already o_O) and I would've never tried some of these clothes and shoes for her without you guys ^^ She'll be a tough one to wear, since the character is a goth and I'm not that great with needle and thread... Especially your discussion about shoes has been interesting and gained information will be used ^^ Thank you guys!

 

I bought the dollmore black stingray top and by looking at it, i knew it would fit her bust but I thought it wouldn't stretch over her hands and wrists, but alas I was wrong! It fits her perfectly and it's very lovely! stingray T




Also she is wearing these eyes right now and they are a lot smaller seeming that most 14 mm that I have so maybe they're actually 12 mm? either way they look lovely on her imo! She has some 12 mm soom eyes on the way. Will post pics.

 

I had an 8-9 Leeke wig on my Luna and it swamped her and looked ridiculous. Right now she's in a 1/3 size Happy Camille wig (the brand FM Anime sells) and it fits muuuuch better, although still a bit looser than I'd like, but holds fine with a silicone wig cap. Not sure if going down to their 1/4 size would be too small, they have some stretc, but dunno if they have THAT much.

I found 8/9 wigs to be way too big. I put a thin coat of clear silicone caulking on my EID's heads. This eliminates buying caps, and keeps the wigs in place. I prefer 11mm eyes, because I prefer smaller iris's. I think this is a matter of taste and manufacturer.

Did you ever find a suit for your Jessica?

How was the fit? I'm looking at some of those for my Asa.

 

My poor Jessica has only one negliee which I made for her. And she has no shoes, so I found your post very helpful! I plan on making most of my doll's clothes myself.

 

Well there is certainly nothing poor about your girl ... she is BEAUTIFUL and I love the oufit you made for her... its looks so much better than the lingerie Iple offers!

 

I have a basic Asa (WS if it matters) and while she is fairly peanut headed, Leeke 7-8 wigs are TOO SMALL. She wears 7-8 if the wig cap is stretchy, but if it's not (like Leeke) then no.

Not to get off topic, but Lyn_r, you have a white skin Asa? I'd love to see pictures of her!
