1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

What fits an IpleHouse EID woman?

Nov 19, 2009

    1. none of the SD16 shoes fit the EIDs :( There feet are to wide

    2. Oh but they do....I have put all of mine on my gal's feet...red pumps, brown patent boots and the black pumps.

    3. was totally surprised to see that my SD Alice Collection shoes fit both my EID (left) and SID (right).
They do look better on the SID. Getting them on the EID was not a struggle at all, but it does appear that the foot is too wide, the shoe looks slightly forced even though it isn't.

    4. Wait, wait, wait. SD16 shoes fit these girls?! It's like a dream come true!! Can you show pictures just to really make this happy dream a reality? My head doesn't want to believe it. Hehe. ^___^

    5. If you look through the first several pages of this thread (HIGHLY recommend this to new owners) There are LOTS of great reference for shoes.

Page 7 post # 135 shows the SD16 shoes that fit.

    6. Ah, I have looked at those photos long ago. Can you tell me if the fit is natural, or does it splay the sides of the shoe out? (I hope that made sense)

    7. I understand what you mean, this what I was trying to explain about the fit with the Alice Collection shoes on the EID feet. I wanted to take another photo to show what I meant but I got lazy. Besides, I know the platform shoe styles from Alices are not really what people are looking to use for these girls. I just wanted to show that they do indeed fit. Just in case.

    8. The brown boots fit like they were made for her....the black pumps are snug and the red ones I stretched a tiny bit so they don't fit my SD16 anymore at all but the EID feet perfect.

    9. This thread is great. I have one Jessica and now a Carina. The info in this thread was very helpful. Thank you so much.

    10. Hi, Bren! (waving)

Look around and ask plenty of questions and I'm sure you're duo will be well dressed really, *really* quickly. :-)

      hugs,
      ~Sonya~

    11. I just wanted to say that this thread has been very helpful. Some of the links at the start are dead now, sadly. It's too bad we couldn't have one post at the start that compiles all the info to make it easier to find (and then is kept updated as things become unavailable and more things are added).

I bought several things from Dollmore yesterday. Some of it is stuff others have bought on here and a few things are not so when they arrive (and my Bibiane gets here), I'll come back and update the forum on whether or not those new items fit her. Hopefully they do! :)

    12. This thread moves relatively quickly, svgjen. I just don't think I could keep up with it well enough to keep the first post updated. If I get some time, however, I will see how far I get. I can't promise I will keep that up, though.

    13. It does move fast and I'm not even saying it has to be you it'd just be nice to have an accurate up to date list because there's a whole lot to wade through. :) I started compiling a list earlier but then like with most things I got distracted. ;)

    14. HI Sonya,

I got lost. LOL I couldn't find where I had posted. :doh Glad to find this again.

      Hugs

      Bren =0)

    15. No worries, Hon. It's a *HUGE* forum. If you subscribe to the threads you wanna keep up with and have them show up in your control panel; you'll be able to see new posts. You can have thm come to your e-mail address, too, but for people like me that would be *way* to much e-mail. I'm currently subscribed to 135 threads and some are extremely fast paced, sooo.... (sigh)

      Hugs,
      ~Sonya~

    16. I saw some clothing for 18" play dolls at Target (www.target.com) last week and decided to buy an outfit and see how it fit my EID large bust Luna. The outfit was only about $15 and there was a skirt (still need to take a picture of this), lace leggings, two tank tops, jacket and some misc scarf/belt like things.

Here is the first top...it is a little skimpy on the bottom for the large bust so I may try it on my medium bust girl when I get time:

Here's the other tank which is longer on the torso. You can see the lace leggings too - they are a bit small but it isn't that noticeable if she's wearing a skirt.

I really like the jacket but it is far from a nice tailored fit which is to be expected. On the large bust it is hard to close - when I have time I'll try it on my medium bust girl. Also, the velcro is hideous looking in my opinion so I probably will remove that and add buttons/snaps. I am not sure if on a play doll the sleeves would come down to the wrists or not but they are about elbow length on the EID ladies:

    17. OK. I started a summary in the first post. I got up to Page 11, then looked through a few pages from the end (because I got bored). If there is anything you want to add from the bit in the middle, do post it and I will include it in the summary.

    18. Nice, that's awesome! Here's what I'd started to work on (and then got distracted with other things). There was some more but you basically covered it in the summary you made, this is just specific working links:
