1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

What fits an IpleHouse EID woman?

Nov 19, 2009

    1. I found Dream of Doll fingerless motorcycle gloves fit really well, actually -- the "female" size fit EID/SID hands, and the "male" size fit my Hound. WIN!

(IIRC, Kumari was still on her original EID body at that point, but I'll include the Shallow Fashion Details anyway, since the clothes still fit her now -- AnotherSpace SD tunic-dress worn as a shirt, Dollmore Model-sized leggings, which are an EXCELLENT fit, Dream of Doll gloves, and she's wearing a Volks SD-girl-sized leather jacket, which is a bit short in the arms but otherwise fits as a cropped open jacket.)

After reading this INCREDIBLY useful thread (and a couple of others) on here, I decided to take a chance and try these SD16 heels (which I'd bought when I briefly owned an SD16), because I don't have any other dolls who can wear them and they're too pretty to go to waste!!

Note: SID/EID feet are wider than SD16, so you may stretch the shoes out a little (which might make them harder to share back and forth with an SD16), and not all SD16 shoes fit SIDs/EIDs -- but a lot of them do!

The angle of the arch of her foot is a little bit different, which was my main issue. I had to be careful, since the heels are resin, and there's a little tongue of resin that comes up the back of the foot, which I was afraid of snapping off.

I wound up just slowly and painstakingly easing her foot into the shoe, wiggling back and forth a little to stretch the straps, one little bit at a time. One of the shoes was harder to get on than the other (probably a microscopic bit shorter in the toe straps), so the foot didn't want to sit flat in the shoe -- but patient wiggling, and pulling the ankle strap tight, eventually did the job.

Thankfully, taking a risk paid off -- these are a perfect fit, they look AMAZING, and she is STANDING in them unassisted . . . and she kept falling over yesterday despite wearing *IpleHouse* heels . . . and yet, even on a windy day (as you can see by her hair and cardigan whipping around), she stood like a rock!!

(I know that the angle of the calf looks like she's leaning, but she's a couple of inches away from the bush behind her, and she didn't budge even in gusts of wind!)

SO MUCH WIN!!! (And now she needs more shoes, LOL!)

P.S. More pics on my Flickr, including the shoes from various angles!

P.P.S. Apologies to anyone who reads this twice -- cross-posting to a couple of EID/SID threads so that the info is available!

P.P.P.S. D'oh!! I'd had the brand in the caption on Flickr, and forgot to copy it over! They're from rRabit shop: http://rrabit.com/rrabitstore/rrabitshop/

    3. Check your zippers!!!

The "Kill Bill" and the "Moet Chandon" sets arrived today. Both have short cropped zippers
and neither has any thread stops sewn into the teeth at the top.
I discovered this while zipping Ruby into the Moet Corset and the tab went sailing across the room!:doh:lol:
Easy fix; it's a separating zipper, the "Kill Bill" skirt would have been a pain to take apart and put in a new zipper.

    4. I would really like to know this too, especially the pants.
Cause I had more loose-fitting jeans in mind, but anything would be really helpful :)

    5. okay this IS a dbl post but hey I want to lay in some supplies while I can still get them lol... so I will ask everywhere I can
has anyone tried these luts shoes for the SID/EID woman? and do they fit????

this pair seems almost identical in style to ones on the Iple site.

      http://www.leekeworld.com/En/Product...catalog_num=29

im not sure if the length of the flat and heel feet are the same or what the deal is (never having these type of dolls before I have no clue but Iple only has one bleh pair of brown flats O_o. xAre there any Dollheart shoes they can wear (flats or heels)? My plan is to order clothing before I order the doll to avoid the nekkid doll syndrome ^^ And I am a shoe-aholic as well as an Iple lover XD . oh any good site recs for shoes is uber welcome ^^ Sorry if this displays weird or in one giant long paragraph... DoA won't let my 'return' key work so I can't do line or paragraph breaks... ><

    6. So, I made a reference post with a number of different SD16-sized shoes from Tata's Paradise -- since I can only post one photo here, check the link to see the styles I tried on my SID/EID high-heeled feet:

      Hope this proves helpful!

P.S. Thank you to Mier for the following list of Tata's styles that do NOT fit:

      - Yasi
      - Ice
      - Hone
      - Princess.S
      - Nayi, Nini, Nora

Mire Lapin says that the "honeSi" style also doesn't fit.

    7. As nice as the other thread is, it's a pain to go thru the whole thing again to find the relevant information.

    8. I have the galmour bust on my EID Asa. I've found most of the stretchy tops and dresses in Dollmore Model Doll size work ok. I also use some baggy SD13&16 tops on her. Unless you are getting tailor made stuff I think the key is to stick with stretchy fabrics or baggy stuff.

Also, I really love the glam bust for the EID size. I had the large bust before but I don't think it looked as good proportion-wise.

    9. There's a glamour bust option for EID? On the site it remains to state medium and large.

    10. just checked and NO.... no glam option.... I don't know what it was before the revamp though. And didn't some of the LE's have that option (maybe?)? EID is large or medium at any rate.

    11. So far, there has never been a glam bust option for the EID women that I know of. Nor a small bust option (which I would have been interested in). :|

    12. Ip have always said an unequivocal "no" to the small bust option (I have asked, possibly more than once). They think it would look unbalanced with those wide hips. However, there has been a move towards pear-shaped body shapes in the BJD world so perhaps it is time to revisit it.

    13. Yeah, I've asked too. I actually asked again when they were doing the redesign, since it seemed like a logical time to update the EID women to include as much option as the SID and nYID lines. But if that is still their reasoning, they only have to look to their own nYID girl! Hips and a small bust option. That's all I'm saying. ^_~

    14. Oh, my mistake. I have the Large. I thought it was large or glamour, not large or medium. Sorry >.<.

    15. I do wish they'd offer a glam bust for the EID ladies! The EID body is, by far, my favourite because it has the height (I love tall girls) and curves going on. A small bust would be a great option for it, too.

    16. Not sure if it is of interest what fits not, but the Soom Super Gem Nephelin outfit definitely fits not.....

The waist snap of the skirt has a gap of more than a cm and the chain from the top cannot be closed as well as the corset has a gap of about 1 cm at the rear. Such a pity, I was so hoping it would fit my Aurora......

    17. If the fit is consitant with other outfits... Soul Doll zenith boy size might be a great idea for EID medium bust women ^^ (I have several outfits form Soul Doll I will try on her in time ^^). Here is my first try
About the fit? shirt is almost a perfect fit, just an extremely tiny pull... not much more than us human women encounter with tops that don't have the buttons placed just so. The pants are very tight and require work to get over her seemingly gigantic caboose O_o. They snap up (it has a waist snap and one for the placket) but the waist itself is a bit looser but the placket snap is very snug. Standing is no problem to fit... Sitting means undoing the placket snap to not stress it. Undoing the waist makes it possible to sit straight otherwise she can't close the hip joint without putting too much stress on the fabric ^^
EDIT: outfit name is DIDN-ZM .... I will have to redo the pic since it won't let me edit just the text >< It is also still for sale as of Oct. 13/13 and is also available on Doll Peddlar's site. ^^
