1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

What fits Dollmore Model boys?

Apr 19, 2007

    1. I have a model doll man dress shirt for my dollshe boy and it is too big, It had to be taken in at the shoulders and waist a bit.

    2. I am not surprised about that - those Model Doll M dress shirts are big and baggy on Model Doll males, too.

I suspect any Model Doll female dress shirts would fit Dollshe bodies better, but I haven't tried it myself.

    3. bakayaro onna - Your post helped so much. That Dollmore skinny suit was EXACTLY the suit I was thinking of getting!~ What a relief to not only hear it fits great, but to see it as well. That boy looks gorgeous.
Thanks so much for posting here! x'o!!

    4. Glad I was able to help!

That Hound photo was from our October/Halloween meetup. He had a 'Jack' head (as in the Jack in the Box clown in the commercials) he wore with the suit. Here he is!

    5. They will fit, but sleeves and pants will be a bit too long, and the shirts will be a bit baggy as most of them are not real tailored.

    6. I got a model doll mens button down shirt for my hound and I had to take it in at the shoulders and at the sides or else it looked huge. Maybe some others fit better but thats my experience.

    7. The pants will be a bit long in the leg but that's about it. Long-sleeved shirts have to be altered.

In fact, my Iplehouse Soo Ri is currently wearing these pants because they fit him better in the butt and legs.

    8. Ah, thanks, folks, the search function did not help me last night, sorry that this has been asked before!

Leather pants are really required, & the DM ones are the slinkiest with their straps & buckles!

Might mean I'd need new boots, though, as Benedict (my Hound) has excellent boots, but they are super-tight & don't quite do up all the way, so he currently wears custom-made trousers at an odd length the come down to just about calf-height.

      *sigh*

      More dolly-shopping!

    9. If you are looking for mega sexy pleather pants for a Dollshe boy, I can heartily recommend Lordjestocost on here. They are a beautifully cut (v sexy butt) and have great attention to detail. Reasonable price too. No straps on the standard style, but you could always ask.

    10. OK. Question about Dollmore boy shoes. I am looking for a pair of Dollmore model boy-sized jackboots, to go with a military uniform. I don't really want gothy platform boots and I REALLY don't want cowboy boots. Actually, what I think I want is a miracle, but it is worth trying. Has anyone seen anything that might fit their great big footsies?

    11. Would the black walkers (now sold out) be close to what you want? If so, go over to Soom and order them there.

    12. Thanks bakayaro onna. They are jolly nice, but I want something knee high and without laces. Rather like riding boots. I will go and have a look at the Soom site, just in case, tho'.

Edit - Just come back from Soom. Oh God! The Mecha angel combat boots are back on! Not exactly what I want, but I love them so much I just might have to compromise. Does anyone know if Mecha Angel shoes look like clown shoes on a Model boy (they have a 11cm inner length. Too big?).

    13. I don't have a Soom MA shoe, but I do have a Sabik and a Dollmore Model! My Model's feet are bigger by about 2 cm and also thicker than the Sabik's. My Sabik can snugly wear SD13 boy shoes but you can forget it with my Model. So I think it's safe to say that ATM Dollmore's shoes are the only ones that will fit their Model boys' gargantuan feet.

(In fact I switched their feet because I wanted the Sabik to have bigger feet for his large frame. So now I need shoes for my Sabik...)

    14. Wow! Thanks for this loz64. I certainly didn't expect MA feet to be smaller, as their shoes are so much bigger than Model ones. They must swim around inside them. Bizarre! Well, it might work, providing the width is OK.

    15. The photos on both Dollmore and Soom are exactly the same for the MA shoes, and the measurements are the same, too. I wonder if Soom gets the big shoes to help stabilize the MAs.

    16. Yes, possibly. I know MA hands are disproportionately small, so I guess the feet follow suit. Dollmore don't have the combat boots and whilst, obviously, the length would be ample, I wonder what the width would be like. Models do have wide feet.

    17. Model doll guys don't have wide feet - they have boats for feet! *laughs*

I even have proof! Tinies use their shoes for boats!

    18. LOL! Only owning Big Boys, I am more surprised by the size of your tinies than the size of the shoes!

    19. Glad you liked the photo, m3! The tiny on the left is Bloodredrose's little Volks baby she won at a Dolpa that year. The tiny on the right is my Bodkin, an OD So vampire Ye.

I have lots of different resin sizes and most of them are either taller or shorter than the SD/MSD/Tiny standard. Makes it difficult to get clothes and shoes but I've managed to find some stuff that works for them.

I have NA shoes and a sweater coming from Soom (just got the ems#) so I'll let you know how they work on a Model Doll.
