1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

What fits Dollmore Model boys?

Apr 19, 2007

    1. Thanks bakayaro onna. I would be very interested to know about the shoes. I am so tempted to buy them anyway. They are bound to fit my Saint, even if they don't fit my Lawrence Owen. However, my poor old Severin only has one pair of shoes (the sublime Dollmore brogues. Most beautiful pair of doll shoes I own) so I am keen to get him something else. Demian (my Saint), on the other hand, is the Imelda Marcos of the doll world and really doesn't need any more shoes.

    2. Sure! Soom has sent me an EMS# so I hope to get the stuff here by the end of the week. I have a Dollmore order coming in, too. It was time to get Eiri that new black suit. I've been asking DM to make one with a male button placket and they did it. Now, if I can get them to do a royal blue shirt, then my Eiri will have his anime look.

      *looks at Dollmore* Well, look at that - they've restocked the black Basic Walkers again, after I got them from Soom. I would have preferred getting them from DM so I can rack up points. I get double points from them now, since I've spent so much money getting stuff from them. *sigh*

      Which shoes are the Dollmore brogues?

      I got Eiri the white basic sneakers and the black basic sneakers when I ordered him, then got the black basic loafers later in a group order. It was time to get him more shoes. The other big guys have a large box of shoes they share (Dollshe/Dollzone/Iplehouse) but my poor Model Doll is lacking in that department.

    3. Yes, I can share many clothes between my Saint and my Lawrence Owen, but not shoes.

      The brogues are the so-called "Model Doll Man Shoes - Luxury Shoes (Black)". They are beautifully made and look like perfect scale models. I have to lever them on with the back of a spoon, but it is worth the effort.

    4. Just an update - the Soom box didn't get to the post office until Monday so I haven't been able to pick it up there this week. I'll go by there to pick it up on Saturday before a workday meetup.

    5. So can someone clear the situation? What fits Model doll boys? Iplehouse pants, something else?

    6. Are you looking for something specific for your Model Doll?

      Iplehouse Hound pants fit Model Doll male bodies great. The extra length Iple puts in their pants helps a lot.

      The only problem I've had with Iple is sometimes their products are mis-labeled and a pair of pants labeled Hound is actually SD13 so they don't fit and viseversa. I contacted them about some pants last year. I even made a video showing how the pants didn't fit so they could see what I was talking about. They sent another pair of pants gratis and didn't ask me to send the others back.

      Any pants you see that don't touch the ground in the company photo will probably be slightly too short. However, if you're planning on tucking the pants into boots, the shorter length would be desirable.

      I've had good success with some of the sellers here, too. Gayle made some nice simple pants for my Model Doll and they're great. I bought some Hound pants from Wifey for my Hound and Dollzone and my Model Doll can wear them, too.

      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
      Ah, I see I didn't answer the shoe question.
      The Soom basic walker shoes are exactly the same, in fact, inside is printed "Dollmore".
    7. bakayaro onna, thanks, you was very helpful^^ Just wanted to know where can I do shopping for my boy, but I need a specific clothing for him, so... It's a trouble as I see *smiling* Only Dollmore clothing and Iplhouse pants, not many.
    8. What are you looking for specifically?
    9. I'm waiting for Haneol, he will be of androgyny type (don't know exactly how it will be in english)
      His style: 1, 2 - thats all that fit him for now, from what I've seen at the moment.
    10. It figures they finally released a ws Haneol Moon, which is what I wanted when they first came out last year. He's going to look stunning in ws!
      Love the outfits! Neither are my Haneol's style but maybe I should get the sweater just to torment him with it. He gets grumpy when I put him jeans! Well, more grumpy... he's always grumpy! *laughs*
      You will definitely want to hot-glue suede him when you get him. It has made a world of difference in Eiri's posability.
    11. He is stunning indeed ^^
      That's sounds joyful ~_^
      That's a pity, but not. I can't do it myself, he is my first boy. And no one in Russia can help me. To send him overseas will be too painfull for me and my bank account *smile* That's sad
    12. Hot gluing is not hard to do. You get a low-temp gun, squirt it, rub it so it's flat and you're done. You WILL want to do it with the chest joint or your Haneol will have a perpetual slumpy back. One of the locals completely glued solid the joint on her Kyle Reese so he can stand up straight. He can no longer bend, though.
      Hot glue also helps the spinning knees.
    13. Oh, sounds like i have to do it^^ So... Maybe you know any good tutorial with some pictures of the process?
      Thank you for your advises!
    14. Update:
      To madammaumau - here are the photos of the black Basic Walkers I got from Soom on my Haneol Moon. They have the Dollmore label inside.
      They take some twisting to get on and off.
      Den-shi: After sueding, my Eiri could stand and pose much better without slumping or 'mantis' arms.
    15. Does anyone know if Luts Senior Delf boots, specifically "SBS-25 For Senior Delf Boy (S.Black)", will fit a Dollmore Model Male? I really like the design and think they'd look good on my doll, but I'm afraid that they won't fit. (>.<)
      The measurements are this:
      Height: 19 cm
      Length: 11 cm
      Inner foot length: 10.6 cm
      Size: 13BOY, HOUND
      And the inner foot length of the DM Luxury shoes for model dolls is 10.5 cm...but yet the boots I'm looking into don't really list the width...
    16. They don't look long enough, or wide enough. Model Dolls have a bit of a duck foot so the width of the toe box has to be considered when purchasing shoes for them. A lot of shoes are too narrow, tapering where a male Model Doll foot needs the maximum width. If the shoe 'fabric' is flexible, you can shove the foot in and get the fabric to stretch. Stiff 'leather' is a hopeless case. I have the same problem with my 70cm Dollzone's v1 feet.
      You'd be more safe trying the Super Senior Delf shoes.
    17. Ah okay, thank you for clearing that up for me~
    18. Awesome gloves!
      The headphones in 70cm/Hound/DZ should work just fine.
      Sadly, the gloves don't come in 70cm. Models and old-style Dollshes have similar hand shapes/size so look for that when searching for gloves. I got some SD gloves for mine on eBay and they're too small.
    19. Just for grins - Model Doll shoes double as cars for tinies:
