1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

What fits Fairyland/Feeple Pukipuki? (clothes, wigs, etc.)

Dec 3, 2007

    1. Awwww, that's so CUTE!!!

    2. T4124 I think the hat is great I never heard of totoro, but I love the hat, are you going to give him a self made outfit with it?

    3. Oh my god those are so cute. I hope they do fit, I'd love to get a couple for my incoming little ones. :)

    4. I hadn't considered a Totoro jumpsuit, but I think I am going to attempt an outfit like the littlest girl in the movie (Mei) wears. (Totoro image gallery)

I'm still hesitant to spend any time making clothes until I know the size better. I asked in the size comparison thread for a Kelly / Puki comparison picture, so maybe if someone gets a chance to post a pic I'll go get a cheap Kelly doll to use and abuse as a model.

Thanks for all the replies, guys!

<edit: meguone (and anyone else who wants!), here's the pattern I made and used for the hat if you want to try your hand at a couple for your pukis!>

    5. Grace at jpopdolls.net has Puki wigs. Karen Vail (http://www.forourdolls.com/) is also selling clothing and wigs for them. Karen is hand sewing the clothing and wigs. Karen also has LMK that Kelly shoes fit them.

    6. :love OMG!!! Thank you SO much for sharing your pattern! That's so generous! I'm definitely making my little Bean a Totoro hat. Squee! I :aheartbea Totoro! Oh, and I added you to my Flickr contacts.:)

I know I've seen a Kelly/Puki comparison photo around here somewhere........ Kelly is probably the closest mass-produced doll size to Pukis. Kelly is shorter than Puki, though.

    7. thanks for the patern, it's great.

    8. Does anybody have a crochet hat pattern for Puki? Or if not, do Kelly hats fit, is Kelly's head 10 cm also?

    9. I'll have one for them as soon as I get my hands on mine! Hopefully they will be shipping next week.

    10. Yay! I'd appreciate that! I really want to make her some hats. I've been having fun crocheting clothes for her. They are so tiny that one garment takes less than an hour (and I'm a slow crocheter).

    11. I do ...they are an absolute beautiful fit , especially with little socks
especially these , these are slightly smaller ...and higher up the foot

      http://www.bjdollarama.com/product_p/tinyt-strapshoes.htm

Im affraid I do like my shoes a little larger so you dont add any stress to tiny joints pulling them on or off
...my first experience with a plastic shoe ...I got it stuck on my dolls foot , Never again
      I prefere these :)

If my tinys have thick knit or crochet socks , I use the larger PF shoes :)

    12. Speaking of shoes, I emailed FL to ask if they were going to make any other resin shoes like the wingtop boots for these dolls such as sneakers and MJ's. This was their reply to me:

There will be more designs for resin shoe parts for pukipuki for sure. We will post a news at FairyLand website when we have the products ready.

If you have any other questions please feel free to ask ^^

      Thank you,

      FairyLand

I think this is great news and I can't wait to see what they come out with. That would be the ideal solution for me. I love the idea of more magnetic feet with shoes.

    13. Thanks guys, I like to use socks with my dolls.
That shop doesn't seem to restock the style I really want.
I do have a PM from someone who does make shoes though. lol

    14. one question, has anyone tried tiny betsy mcall patterns/clothes? I have a couple dollybird pattern books with alot of those patterns....

    15. I think they'll be too large. If I'm not wrong the tiny betsy clothes are even larger than a PF and maybe also than a Lati yellow...

Thanks Laurmann2000!!!! I love the molded shoes! And they're so easy to change!

I don't like kelly plastic shoes, and I don't like huge shoes on the pukipuki. What fits PF for me it's too big for pukis. I have some shoes handmade by a friend, and I'll buy soon some maryjanes from rpalomino (I think that it's her nickname here). I have some PF sized shoes and they are lovely!
And they are custom made to fit pukipuki.
I might also have some boot arriving soon... I do hope they fit because they're made for another doll. If they fit I'll give you the link :)

    16. that would be great, I was even thinking about making my own with expoxy, like different ears and so, My puki is a pukisha, but it would be nice to make some bunny ears or instead of the pukisha ears 2 flowers:)

    17. I was wondering if little pulip clothes fit? or petite blythe? pulip and blythe's looks thin, and who is licca? because that fits? I do not know the difference between all these dolls.
