Th1 is the mohair on skin or a wigcap? If it's on skin sometimes wetting it and stretching helps since the skin sometimes shrinks during shipping.
Just looked at it and it definitely looks 4 pieces of skin sewn together. I will try to wet it and see what happens!! Thanks!
same her...but then again I prefer my pukies clotheless and bold...heh..they're scalp and body is to awesome for accessories to cover them....
Hah... your comments about their beautiful bald heads and bodies reminds me of this thread for the PUKI CIRCUS... they are sooo graceful and cute!! They look fantastic with no clothes or with clothes, either way they're fabulous!! http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?t=189622
Are Bratz kidz and Bratz Boyz the same? I just found this at ebay, do you think they fit ? (it's alreay sold though u.u) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=290199325275&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=019
I think those clothes are for the normal sized bratz, who are about the size of a barbie doll, so their clothes are waaaay to big for pukipukis. As far as I know, bratz kidz don't have separate clothing sets yet.
Bratz Kidz have a few seperate clothing sets. Not very many though and you don't always runs into them. I think there are a couple of boy Kidz too, but I never seem to run into them either. But yeah, it does seem like that auction is for full sized Boyz.
I ordered the Christmas Story set on the 15th and now am in a whirl of impatient preparations. I was quite content for my Gienie Lillica to wear Kelly clothes but I feel that these 2 will need better fitting garments (and more realistic) than those produced by Mattel. The Puki Puki measurements seem very similar to Lillica's so I have fit my patterns on her. This little dress is all hand stitched and closes w/ a bead and crocheted loop in back. The fit is very snug but if anything the Puki waist is a hair smaller than Lillica's. Am I safe to continue in this vein or should I hold off until Piki and Sugar arrive? Click image for larger view.
I had Banji outfits for my Orient doll... it fit pretty well...and they are cute...think they would fit pukis http://www.dollmore.net/shop/step0....1647&m_code=&c_code=C20060204034057&pagenow=1
I would think Banji outfits might be too long...I know they're too long for Lilica. You can get Boneka outfits in the smallest size that should fit Puki. Fee has several, and they fit her well. They're well made, and the price reflects that, so be prepared. I believe you can get them from Denver Doll Emporium http://www.denverdoll.com/petites_creations6inch.php Here's the fit on a Lilica, it should be similar for a Puki, since they tie in the back. I'll try to get a pic of one of my Pukis in a set. (Fee and The Nutmeg say hello)
I'm sorry to argue but bratz are NOT the size of a barbie - not by a long shot. Bratz girls are extremely tiny on top, with really really skinny legs. They SEEM barbie sized because they are around 10" tall and have giant heads and big feet, but Bratz clothing is REALLY tiny. Bratz Kidz clothing will be way too long on a puki, but tops should fit. Baby Bratz clothing fits, but skirts are too big and might need some adjustment. just to list all the bratz - off the top of my head -- I might be missing some. There are tons of sizes of bratz out there now. Bratz girls - (and there are newer ones that look to be the same size but are about an inch taller - extremely tiny up top, but still, TOO BIG for a pukipuki up top. Pants would be too big, and way too long. Bratz boys - bigger than the girls. Bratz boy pants fit the likes of Tonner's Tiny Kitty, and they fit my Bisou Ai (after cutting them off) so their stuff would be too big for a puki, too. Some of their hoodies might fit or something but - it would be a crapshoot. Bratz kidz - boys and girls. I don't know if the boys are the same size as the girls or not, I haven't bought a boy. Bratz kidz stuff fits the pukis but pants are WAY too long, and skirts are too - like - a mini on a bratz kidz is below the knees on a puki. Bratz babies - their stuff fits and they do sell outfits separately. Skirts are too big, and either fall off or need attention with a needle and thread. Tiny bratz - these look like the big bratz boys and girls, but they are weeny. They make good dolls for the MSD and SD sized kids. Clothing is TRULY tiny - too small for puki. BIG bratz babies - they are really big. Their stuff doesn't fit anybody. now there are also some REALLY tiny bratz babies out too but I don't think they even come with removeable clothes.
I have bratz kidz boy clothes on my little boy, and what Sher is saying is true. The pants fit but were way too long, I cut them and they're just fine now. They are not the size of Barbie clothes. Here's a reminder picture:
It's time for a Puki fashion show! I just got a few Licca baby sister outfits from Mimiwoo on Ebay, and here's some pictures of Madeline showing them off! First outfit: Pink bathing suit with matching bathing cap and sandals The bathing suit is just a liiiiittle too big for her, but she can still move and pose normally in it. With a little work, the bathing cap fits over a wig. It's a tad too big without a wig, though. Madeline: How did it get dark so fast?? The sandals, however, don't fit. :/ Outfit two: Polka-dot yukata (comes with the bathing suit) Also a little too baggy, and she can't move a whole lot in it (she can kneel but not sit) But, but... she looks so cute in it! Madeline: I can't put my arms down! Me: Outfit three: Blue sleeveless dress (comes with the schoolgirl dress) It's adorable! Now for the best one, the schoolgirl dress! *squeeeeeeee!* It's also a little big and hard to pose in, but she can sit normally in it. The little bookbag has an elastric strap so I was able to stretch it over her shoulder. Oh, and pay no attention to the big puppy nose in the background. *dead from cute* Amazingly, the kitty ears *still* stick even though the hat and the wig! But... they look kinda funny. Overall, Licca baby sister outfits are baggier than Kelly/Shelly clothes, and they might cause some issues with posing and movement. I still highly recommend the schoolgirl uniform/blue dress. The yukata is darling, but it's really hard to pose in. I still like it though. The SHOES are great- they're a lot squisher than Kelly/Shelly shoes, so puki feet pop in and out waaaay easier without having to cut them in the back (which I what I did to my Kelly shoees).
I searched but didn't find...so if I am not the first to say this I am sorry... Only Hearts Club babies clothes fit. You can get them at Target each outfit 3-4 pcs is $5. They are adorable but I haven't any pictures as I only saw them on my friends' dolls last weekend and mine isn't here yet.
Thanks for this clothing tip. I just went to Target in Pasadena today and I did not see any OHC Baby outfits. I hate wasting gasoline to shop for my dolls!! Online is much easier!!
