1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

What fits Iplehouse SID Man?

Nov 5, 2010

    1. Cool to know! Thanks :)

    2. More SSDF clothes that fit!

The sweater and shoes are from Luts. The jeans are SSDF-sized Sadol jeans. I did have to remove the button on the waistband and stich it on again in a looser location. These jeans were a bit of a pain to pull on over his feet, since they're so tight. I'll probably take his feet off to remove them!

    3. That's great Snowgray! Can he sit in the jeans? My guy can only stand in SSDF jeans I have, his thighs are just to big for any extra sitting room. :/

    4. He can sit if he's sorta leaning back on his hands. I think I unbuttoned the top button, too?

    5. That's what I've started to do, they are the only pair of jeans he's likely to see this side of Christmas so I've taken to putting a belt across the open zipper and a long top top cover it. ;) Now he sits great

Mentioned this a few times but still don't know, do Model EID jeans fit SID boys?

    6. Shin answered back in post #23, but I just ran back to the doll room and checked for fun.
Nope. Regular Model sized EID jeans are about two finger widths too large around the SID waist.
So I dug out the very slim fitting pants I have on hand for my model EID boys:
      The pants in this set
      http://www.iplehouse.net/shop/step1.php?number=2284
and the black pleather pants (not the fabric ones) with chains, that aren't showing on the site now.
They were still large, but only one finger width wider than the SID waist.
And... omgsexy! I will have to take a few photos of the black pants later on because. Yum. :)

Oh, and for the record, nope can't sit in those brown pleather pants. The pants' desire to be inflexible is stronger than the doll's desire to sit up. lol

    7. I have just got mybayer2008 on eBay to custom make me some pleather trousers and a jacket. He/She asked for a pattern-drafting fee that might or might not have been opportunistic. But, as the outfit was discounted anyway and the total price was still reasonable, I went with it. I will let you know how they turned out (but not until after Xmas as my Claude is now re-wrapped and under the tree. Willpower is my middle name). And, if they are any good, I will find out what the official line is on charging a pattern-drafting fee for future comissions.

    8. Ah thanks for letting me know Aernath, must have missed that. Damn another one bites the dust.
And Thanks to Shin for finally clearing that up for me.

I will find jeans a SID guy can sit in...some day. It is my mission in life!

    9. I have given up on sitting my SID and my husband's EID. Our meetup group laughs because I *always* bring stands for them. When they're lucky they get to 'lounge' on the couch! ;)

MadamMauMau I'm excited to see how your commission comes out! If the result is good once the maker has drafted the pattern he/she may see lots of business!

    10. Ooh I'm glad about this, I want to buy the current MG Biweekly for my Claude, was just comparing the measurements and they are very very close. Apart from Mega Gems being a bit taller, neither seems to be bigger than the other in terms of build.

I am a bit worried about shoes though - preferably I'd like to buy mega gem boots but I'm pretty sure they won't fit. The MG foot is shorter, and just... I can't get my head around how big SID feet are, I tried to stuff them into some of the bigger 70cm shoes I own and no chance... I've only ever had to deal with dainty little super gem feet before, hoho. I don't really wanna have to go the Luts route at the moment, unless I can join a GO or something.

    11. Sicne I'm pondering a Claude....

It sounds like SID feet (9.2cm, probaly by 3.5cm) and EID feet (9.9x4cm) are close enough that if you buy outside Iple, look for shoes/boots that would fit an EID, like Idealian 72 or a couple on Sunny's World that are 11cm exterior length (they're among the 70cm doll shoes, but you have to check the measurements). I'm working on a theory that the exterior length is at least 1cm more than the interior. Freedom Teller is also developign EID-sized shoes.

I didn't believe this until I tried it with a couple of different tops, but Dollmore Glamore Model knit tops fit my EID model body, so I'd try it on a SID. To compare the main upper measurements:

SID: shoulder width: 17cm, chest: 33.7cm, waist: 24cm
EID: shoulder width: 18cm, chest: 36.5cm, waist: 26cm
      Dollmore Glamour
Model high neck T: shoulder width: 15cm, chest WIDTH: 16cm = chest circumference, 32cm

The clothes measurements are all width, so you need to double chest, arm, etc. to get the circumference and a better idea of fit. The sleeve is a 9cm circumference. I don't have to struggle at all to get them on, so there's about 4-5cm worth of give in the knit.

    12. I would like to confirm that Dollmore Model M leather pants do fit the SID male body.
      VERY well...yummy.

I can't post pics as my PC is down and I can't get pics into my laptop.

The pants are long but who cares when they fit this well?

    13. Idealian boots! :D
I was really hoping they would fit my EID but at least they fit someone

    14. Also confirming the fit of....

      Dollmore Model male boots
      and
      Dollmore Model male sneakers

    15. When you guys say Dollmore Model M is it the Glamour model doll sizes or Model doll man sizes?

    16. So this means they do not fit EID? They look pretty big against your SID boys foot. No way they will fit
the EID boys? I was too late to get them anyway, but I was hoping they where ok for the EID boys.

    17. No they Don't fit at All :(
I put the sole of the shoe against EID foot and thé foot was like ... 1-2mm larger. And of course thé inside of thé shoes is even tighter!

    18. Could you point out which models fit, please? :3

    19. I thought Model Male was pretty clear...if I had meant Glamour Model I would have said so...though some of those GM shoes fit the EID

every pair I have tried in the Model size has fit the male SID feet.
The toe box is wide enough and the length is perfect.
I have the Liven boots and the black n white sneaks.

    20. That's good to know, footwear always seems to be really touch and go with them.
