1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

What fits Iplehouse SID Man?

Nov 5, 2010

    1. My size 7-8 Leekeworld wig is small and tight on my SID Claude. :( At the same time, the 8-9 is far too big for him. I need like an 8.25 or something. =/

Just ordered my Leekeworld wig in Feb. 2012. Very disappointed.

    2. Oooh! I *like* these! Thank you, so much, for the picture and link. :) My SID Barahan is in transit now and he's gonna need more shoes.

      ~Sonya~

    3. Thanks, Aernath! I've shopped with Mimiwoo before for my vinyl dolls, so I was gonna check it out. Now I don't have to search. Yay! I need to go through my E-bay archives, though, 'cause there was another seller that had some cool boots that I wanna check out. :)

      Hugs,
      ~Sonya~

    4. You're both welcome! :)
I have bought from Mimiwoo and Releaserain both quite a bit. They usually have the best prices going on shoes. And they frequently have sales. ;)

    5. The length looks good, but off the top of my head; I don't know about the width. Hmmm....I'll have to run upstairs in a bit to check. :) I've had great buying experiences with this seller, though, if that helps.

      Hugs,
      ~Sonya~

Whose gonna go break out a tape measure in a few. :-)

    6. Thanks for the picture showing the scale of these shoes on SID.

Do wish you had listed the additional styles you own that fit too.

I like socks with shoes. Thanks for the picture of the dress shoes and your recommendation for the loafers.

You did better than me. After 30 minutes I gave up, put clamps on his elastic and removed his feet, heated the shoe with a hair dryer to soften it some, and then finally got them on my Barahan's feet. Even though heating made them more flexible, the heel backs compressed down to make creasing while getting them pushed up to proper position. Heating vinyl is problematic because it will hasten deterioration by itself and repeated creasing will definitely cause cracking on the surface. Both are reasons why I am not keen for any shoes/boots that must undergo stressing to be put on. Had to take his feet off and heat the shoes again to get them off of the feet.

We totally agree that these shoes should not be what they are for the price point.

These are the same for fitting issue.

These boots are another nightmare for getting on and off. In addition they fit so tight in the ankle that zipping them is just about not doable. Plus, when zipped, they totally immobilize the ankle for any foot positioning.

Because these boots have a back zipper and front laces which can be loosened all the way, they are passable.

Thanks for the picture showing the look of these boots.

Aernath – Thanks for the source to buy the above boots at a better price.

In December I bought 70 cm boy regular sneakers, high top sneakers, and the plaid ‘deck’ type sport shoes from the SWDOLL site. They are no longer listed there nor on Sunny’s World on ebay. The inner measurements of these items were 10.5cms. They are a tad long but I stuff the toe when not using socks.

Does anyone know for certain whether the more pointed toe styles of Luts SSD shoes also fit the SID?

Most particularly I would like input for this style.

    7. I have those shoes in black and white for my SSDF boy and can try them on my SID tomorrow. I'll let you know!

    8. That would be greatly appreciated. And, do I presume correctly that there is room for socks on SID with the SSDF loafers you own?

This style was probably made by the same manufacturer as those sold by numerous sellers on ebay awhile back. I have them in black and brown from another seller and they fit my Volks SD13 males and definitely are not large enough for SID.

Based on the given 9cm length measurement and the Dollshe male (70cm but with small feet that can fit a lot of SD13 footwear) wearing the pink pair, I would say the odds are no.

    9. Checking the thread again, I see I missed posts.

Thanks for the picture giving us the scale look of those EID boots on SID and for the SSDF sandals recommendation.
The EID white and EID black trainers are all right for my tastes on SID wearing pants that drape over the tops of the shoes; however, I do not care for the look with the tight hems of skinny pants or shorts.

I believe the white EID pair was used for the Denzel_Special Edition; IH's pictures here and here are accurate for the scale perspective.

Please tell us whether the IH SID boots being worn by your Felix are tight and hard to get on and off?

    10. Update! passionasfashion, these SSDF shoes do fit SID, and there's room for socks. These SSDF loafers have room for socks, too.

John tried on a Nine9Style 70cm jacket this weekend. He couldn't fit a shirt underneath, or lift his arms at all, but for standing around and posing it's not bad!

    11. Can he lift his arms or fit a shirt underneath if the jacket is left open? I want tha jacket from Iple but I don't want the full set with the pants. I doubt they will left me buy the jacket only.

    12. I had a t-shirt underneath at one point, but it looked bulky. I just went and tested and with no undershirt he can raise his arms, zipped or unzipped, thought there's a lot of stretching/wrinkling. He'd probably be fine with a shirt underneath if the jacket were unzipped; the jacket is very tight across the back, and the arm-balls are hard to get through the arm holes, worse with a t-shirt underneath. Maybe a long-sleeved shirt that was very tight would be better, as the sleeves would be less likely to bunch up at the arm holes?

    13. I have a nine9 t shirt that looks cool on but is super tight. Nine9 shirts don't fit across the chest though. I have a 70cm shirt for my Super Gem, I tried on my SID. No good at all.

    14. Snowgray – thanks so much for your update on the SSD shoes!

    15. New SID section on Freedom Teller. :) Finally some clothing for SIDs!
