It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. That's something I don't tolerate. That is the main reason why I don't buy second hand. For me, the best part of buying or receiving a gift is opening it. I would really hate it :x

    2. If they have permission, I'm okay with it. If they don't have permission? No way, I'd be furious. Box openings are kind of a big deal to me. I don't take photos, but it's the feeling really.
      When my DZ order arrived at my house, I was at college and had to make sure everything arrived in the correct colors, was undamaged, and had all the extras I bought. I had my mother open the boxes and take photos for that reason, while normally I'd have her just put them in a safe spot until I'm home to open the box myself.

    3. Honestly, I'd be pissed. I make it a point not to open anyone else's mail even if it is an interesting-looking parcel, so I kind of expect the same respect from others. If it's not for you, it's not your business and it sure as heck isn't your place to open it!

    5. I would hate it if a person other than myself opened my doll's box. > ^ < Although I do like to have another person there with me to enjoy when I open a new BJD.

    6. I would... I would probably cry. ;_; Opening my doll (my first and only as of now) was such a special experience for me. I remember that my mom didn't even tell my that my doll had arrived (I was at school). She just let me walk into the kitchen and notice the big box on the table... and I completely flipped out. I was so happy. Opening him was like a dream; I would probably be furious and heartbroken if someone else opened it without my permission. I wouldn't make me love the doll any less... but it would be sad to have those negative memories associated with it.

    7. my azrael was posted to my girlfriends house star's and she opened him to check him sent me photos of the boxes etc but not of him, she only did it to check him over make sure everything was ok. then wrapped him back up so it looked like no one had ever looked. i did not mind yes i way jelly and excited but i had to wait till the weekend then i opened him up an my excitement and enjoyment did not ruin the fact she had opened him. so i was fine with it i was glad knowing he was all okay ready to meet him ^^
