1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

What is the biggest doll you have ever seen?

Feb 14, 2011

    1. There's a vendor that I see at a specific convention a lot, and they have a 90cm AoD doll. I think she told me that she fits toddler shoes on him O.O

    2. I love that doll. So impressively massive.

    3. A 90cm AoD doll. Forgot the mold. He was sent to a friend in trade and he was a toddler to me! HUGE!

    4. Recently (in Feb.) this was posted in 'box openings'. (i found it from an outside link)

      http://www.denofangels.com/forums/s...x-Opening-Dollmore-Trinity-Golden-Jude-105-cm

so I'd say Dollmore's "Trinity" takes the lead ^^ Ive not seen one but still... 105cm!

Also the D-Storic doll is on DoA's "banned" list .... what I don't understand is why. She techincally fits all criteria (I am fairly sure she is resin, have not seen yet that she is not). The only thing I can think of is it is a random dislike of the size. She is 5' 8" wears i belive a size 2 dress size and size 6 shoe. And I think it said a B-cup breast lol. The mentioned obitsu doll is 150cm... I am 152cm lol O_O...

Why have one.... why not... I used to have 3 dressmakers type maniquin bodies while i was involved in theatre... I'd kill to display some of my 'kept' costumes on a doll like her... A local club member I know who was heavy into lolita said something similar about her former wardrobe... I'd say thats a good reason O_o ^^. And unlike maniqins or dressmakers forms.... the dolls can POSE!

About the price? concidering what I just paid for my 69cm guy.... the cost of life size... does not seem so insane. What the killer would be would be shipping... my idea for that... buy a plane ticket for her.... let her sit in a passenger seat.... i'd think it had to cost less than shipping ;-P ^^

    5. The biggest doll I've ever actually seen in person would have to be a Leekeworld Croom Centaur. He was seriously massive; like the size of a medium-sized dog, massive. :o It wasn't just that he was tall, it was that he was so large. He was very impressive though!

    6. i dont think you would ever want a doll thats 90cm!! idk what i would do with it:( to large in my opinion

    7. I saw this elf demon who was actually 5"4" and he was made with orange clay. When I saw it I was like WHAAAA!! But I guess they had fun with it. ;)

    8. The largest I've seen IRL is a 60cm DollZone... there aren't many doll people where I live, unfortunately :(
But I have seen pictures of that 150cm Obitsu that others have mentioned.

    9. In person, the biggest human doll was 70cm and a SOOM Epidos; way too big for me!! My Chrom is even pushing it, I can't imgine you'd be able to easier carry anything bigger than that.

    10. I once had a complete AOD 90 cm boy here for a commission. My gosh, he was HUGE! And so heavy. When I painted his head it was like painting an infant's head … He was cool but …

    11. I've only ever seen MSDs and tinies in person before, but I'll soon be getting a 70cm so we'll see what I make of that. THe biggest doll I've seen online is a 1/2 scale.

    12. In person, the largest I have seen is MSD scale.

I've seen a picture of a 1/1 scale Obitsu, though.

    13. The biggest I've seen online are the 105cm Trinity Dolls. In person the biggest I've seen is my DZ Tulip and she's 62cm.

    14. Verse: who makes that doll? She look so special! I want to see more pictures!

Personal I have not seen so many very big ball jointeddolls, because I am just here at hospital. But the doll picture that raeally suprised me, was the big barbie, since barbies regulary is so small and should look that thin and we always compareideals to Barbie. I saw a pic of the me-size or what they clal it. I was very suprised! It is not a bjd, but a fashion doll atleast.

Bjd´s, I have only seen on pictures too, but by my self, personal, in real life, the biggest I have is a 72 cm chester from dc so he is the biggest I have seen personal. His leg is so long.
The biggest girl doll I have had in my hands, is a Twigling.

1/2 dolls I have seen on dollmore and spirit dolls pages. But that 1/1 dolls I have never seen on picture either!

    15. my AoD 90cm Bo, called Eamon, is a sweetie - until I have to move him! I'm only 60cm taller than him, and he weighs A TON, and his legs are all over the place - aaargh!!! Very heavy to hold in one hand whilst controlling his legs with the other! But once he's sat down safely, you'd never think he could give any trouble

I've painted out the very black faceup he came with - I'll be doing it properly eventually. This is a pic of him next to my SD AoD Qian, when I first got him - as you can see, he does wear toddler shoes - a great excuse to buy cute baby converse! He also wears baby tops - I find size 9 months fits him perfectly in the arm - these he's wearing are newborn size. I made his trousers - the big problem area for these boys. His wig is a normal dolls wig which I had for an antique doll - I forget the size - I cut it from a long, ringlet style to a boy style, and took in a couple of darts at the back to make it fit him better.

    16. I got to see an 80cm (mecha angel)... omg god the legs! Rediculously long ... as in out of proportion long... but he was still pretty ^^

elve: ... you butchered an antique wig??? *cringes* I still love him even if he looks like a junkie LOL

    17. The largest doll I've seen in person was an EID Iplehouse man. He made my Delf Shiwoo look like a little kid. He was just so massive. Nothing like my AD doll who is simliar to a dollshe boy.

    18. I posted in this topic a couple years ago just before I ordered my 90cm Bo, but he is still the largest I've seen in person sadly. (especially now that I see there are 105cm dolls now?! Do want.) I'm surprised how many people say he's heavy. I really don't think he is heavy at all. Heavier then my others, of course, but for his size I was shocked how light he was! I got him at A-Kon in 2011 and while I had a stroller for him I did end up carrying him around myself a fair bit. Especially at the meets, easier to show people.

    19. I am so glad you said you used a stroller... since I plan on having (eventually) more than one around the 70-80cm I am looking at old style baby buggies... I am going to recover one and put a sign (some how not sure yet how) saying "Doll Coach"... For now with one doll I will be able to help other club members carry some of thier dolls at meets ^^... Think of it as some weird kind of 'horseless cariage'. LOL
