Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. What is your favorite doll size and why

Jan 14, 2010

    1. I like msd sized dolls because to me me they arent to big or to small.

    2. I have dolls in all sizes (12cm-79cm), but my favourites are the big ones. I like my SD70 the best, they may be a bit on the heavy side when you bring more then one with you, but I still think it it worth it.

    3. for me I i like the MSD size range i think the prices is very good and I don't like really big dolls but like dolls that i can hold and carry around easy. Making clothes for MSD dolls is nice too because i can use scraps from old t-shirts or material rather than using alot of material. with an SD sized dolls I feel like i would accidentally drop them because of their size and because there really heavy

    4. All my girls are SDs though will be curious on getting a girl bigger than 60cm :D! I am a short girl of only being 5'1. Short girl, big dolls. Been told I look very cute with them and some confuse them as being my baby ( people out in public of course). I've tried tinies before and it didn't suit me though I am very curious of Msds. Might give them a shot :D!

    5. I like 70. 75 cm - too big. But i'm not sure i'll be able to refuse if somebody present me with Iplehouse KID )))

    6. I like the tinies and MSD sizes the best, but I do have dolls in all sizes.

    7. i really like MSD size. i don't know, they're big enough to meet my wants i guess? but small enough to just carry and sit with :)

    8. I think I like SD dolls better.. I feel like they're easier to handle. I like the fact that they're big I guess.. I'm greedy? Haha At first, when I got my Dollzone Tulip, I thought she was too big and didn't want anymore SD size dolls but, it seems like I can't look at any other dolls besides SDs. I do want one MSD though.

    9. I had almost all sized dolls and now I can say MSD is the best for me! I looove SDs for their faces and bodies but they're too big and heavy for me T_T
I love my withdoll juwel who looks like SD but is 45cm tall ♥

    10. I prefer SDs most. I don't know why, I'm just not fond of the shorter sizes.

    11. I just got my first MSD a few weeks ago and I was worried I'd find her too big but I now think she's just right! My first bjd was a pocket fairy almost 2 years ago and honestly she just lives in her box and doesn't even have name; she's just too small for me. Maybe I'll get a sugar body or maybe put her up for adoption.

    12. I have discovered that for me it is yosd 26-29cm. They are not too big, and not too small. Plus there are so many new ones being made now! I will have four soon!

    13. I Like the MSD size but there's cons as well. Like for example that most of them tend to look younger of course but height wise they are perfect for me.

    14. All my dolls and future planned dolls bar one are SD size, I really like them being big as it makes them feel different to the barbie dolls and porcelain doll I had when I was little, plus they look like adults which is what I prefer. I wouldn't go any bigger than about 70cm though.

    15. I really like tinies, though I'm not against other sizes. The first two I'm getting are both tinies (because I like them and they're a bit more affordable), and I absolutely LOVE miniature stuff. So tinies will fit into my collection of all things mini. lol But there are a handful of larger dolls I'd like to have too, so...hmm. I don't think I'd like a doll that's too big tho.

    16. MSDs are my favorite. Anything smaller is just too small for me, and SDs don't fit anywhere because they take up so much space.

    17. SD's they're so detailed, also older looking and I prefer mature looking dolls.

    18. I'm 4'9 at twenty years old, and have very tiny hands which makes handling even MSDs kind of hard for me. I have only a MSD now, but she is big and hard for me to work with, so I am looking to purchase a tiny soon. After having an MSD I couldn't begin to think of how much trouble I would have with a big SD. I think a doll that is smaller and easier for me to handle and carry around is what I will prefer. :)

    19. I like tinies the best, I guess because they are so cute and take up little room. I also like making tiny items and doll houses for tiny dolls. I have always wanted to see a huge bjd, but I am not sure if I would want one.

    20. SD-sized dolls, mostly because I prefer a more mature look.
