It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. What is your favorite doll size and why

Jan 14, 2010

    1. I started out loving MSD's but once I got my boy doll, I was converted to SD's! I feel there are much more mature sculpts in the SD size and not to mention more modern clothes for SD's too!

    2. I like MSD sized dolls because they are small but just large enough to be impressive. The larger dolls indimidate me, but I like them. I also like MSD because they tend to be younger looking and more loli, which is why I like dolls in the first place.

    3. Well I have an SD, an MSD and a tiny...and the tiny is the only one who has a name and a backstory, and I just ordered a new tiny and I've already given her a name...

So I think I might love tinies.

    4. I think my favorite doll's size are all those dolls that are not too much big, not too much tiny.

My favorite are between MSD and Lati Yellow SP.

Something from 44 cm, 30 cm, 26 cm and 20 cm.. that's would be my favorite doll's family's size !

I can say for sure that I don't like the lati white size... ><

    5. I think that my favorite size is MSD because I just find that a lot of the dolls that I'm attracted to are in that size. i also like the tinys too because they look so cute. :aheartbea

    6. My favorite are the tiny dolls. I do really like MSD & SD sized dolls, but I find myself loving the tiny size the best. They're more portable for me, I love their look and I tend to hang on to them the longest out of all the other sized dolls out there!

I hope to be getting some MSD sized dolls next year, and maybe further down the line I'll look in to some SD sized dolls. I've pretty much gone over my limit for dolls this year already. I was planning on getting ... zero. I have already bought one, and another on layaway. EEK I am terrible! I failed there! I was doing so good paying off my college debt over the past 2 years, I guess I felt that I've been so good financially long enough to get another doll again!

    7. Ah my tastes have changed a bit recently : until now my favourite size was MSD, but since I have a wonderful tiny of Kaye Wiggs, I think I'd like longer had to YOSD. I find the SD too massive for me...

Forgive my terrible english, I use google translator ...

    8. I find MSD to be the right size for me...it's like those three bear thing. SD is too big. YoSD are too small so MSD is the right size... and I can still "try" to sew her clothes without being an eye strain from the little stitches

    9. I go with those that adore the small ones, so anything MSD & smaller ^^ The SD & up, I feel, are too big for me ><;; I have a penchant for anything small even though I sometimes wind up with big things (off-topic, like my dog) but at least my doll is MSD ^^

    10. I ordered two SD dolls from Iplehouse. I can't imagine trying to sew for smaller dolls. I think I could knit and crochet for the larger dolls easier also. If I was going to always purchase their clothes, I think I'd like the MSDs.

    11. I like SD dolls because they have a nice ratio of size to reality. Smaller to me feels like a toy. I do have a hankering for a 1:2 size doll. There's a company I've been looking at that is supposed to be making one soon and they'll be offering a girl doll. Angel of Dream makes dolls in this size but only has boy dolls. I only want girl dolls.

    12. I prefer size 60cm to 70cm... although I love those 2 80 cm dolls from IOS... but they are too large for me ..=P

    13. I like YoSDs but prefer SDs (even though my girl is an SD I still find her too small though), I just prefer bigger things for some reason....or maybe it's because my eyesight is failing....

I do hope I find an MSD I like enough to buy someday though because I'd love to have a variety of sizes from micro BJDs to really big SDs

    14. While I have many sizes in my collection, I really like 60cm dolls. They're easier to faceup and they have really awesome clothes. I like they have weight to them, while not being obnoxiously heavy. They're easier to carry around in your arms when you are out an about. I also love the wig selections that 60cm dolls tend to have.

    15. Currently, the only babies I have are both MSD sized, so I haven't been able to compare to other sized yet.
But I just love the size of my girls. They're perfect for cradling in my arm, and they fit in my purse very nicely and comfortably.
I do really want to get an SD some day, though.

    16. My favourite doll size is tiny - 16cm. This is because they are cute and I can bring them everywhere.

    17. I have decided on the tinies and the main reasons are.
      1. I do not need much space to display them.
      2. It will be easy to hide a new addition so my partner is not sure what I am up to!
      3. They just feel so precious in my hand and immediately make me smile.
      4. I can buy so many things for them
      5. I Just Love Them.
The only one down size and it took my partner to point this out. I am mature and wear glasses, he said there will come a time when you can't see them! If he thought that would put me off......No Chance !:)

    18. Ruby That's when you take a trip to get bi-focals or LASIK! :thumbup

I'm a tiny fan also. Little anything makes me smile, and little BJD's make me SQUEE! I may NEED to get a bigger friend to help watch over the little ones while I'm at work though.... but you know that is purely out of necessity, not because I just want another doll friend!

    19. I like only SD dolls (65-70+) , because I like a big dolls in principle.
I have Tonner dolls, but they do not bring me pleasure, just
they had to buy earlier BJD

    20. I start loving BJDs of 41cm sizes (the DOC series.) But I never get one of this size. Then I am attracted by bigger dolls, like those 60~65cm ones. Although they are much heavier and much hard to carry, they have always been my favorite ones cuz they are often more mature and not cute. (It does not mean I don't love cute dolls like the YOSD. I got my YOSD girl and she is my precious, too.) The 60-cm dolls are much more like friends of mine that I can play with, and I think this is the main reason.
