What is your favorite doll size and why

Jan 14, 2010

    1. i love the eid-size of iplehouse. The girls have such a wonderful curvy shape and I think its not so much difficult to sew clothes for as for msd cause fabric parts are bigger and i found some pics on flickr- they really look goo in dessous. Like a real woman. Not like a supermodel. She is like my shape. Hihi. love it

    2. I love msd size dolls, and I only have those currently! I would like to try a tiny doll, I've never had one of those. Simply because I love to sew and would love to make tiny little clothes :) But I prefer MSD dolls. They are big enough to have a real presence yet small enough to carry around :) I also love making stuff msd size!

    3. First getting into BJDs and for quite some time, I was all about tinies and still those little buggers hold a special place in my heart. I can't help it though, some of these larger sculpts are just pulling me in! *Drifts over*

    4. So far I really love my minifee, so I think that msd is my favorite size. I do have a feeling I'm going to really love yo size when I finally get one. They seem like they'll be the perfect combination of small but substantial.

I can't bring myself to go any bigger than that though... too scary

    5. I like 60cm-65cm dolls. Because they're a lot more fun for me to pose/ take photos of.
The certain type of Hime-Gyaru fashion I style them in only come in those sizes.
They're a lot more to love, and I just really like having my two large dolls to keep my company. (:

    6. I love the Tiny ones. My smallest BJD is only 4" tall and he is my very favourite! I love the way he sits in the palm of my hand. He sleeps in a tea cup at night. And I marvel at his tiny fingers and toes! Robin B

    7. Mecha angels being the largest really interste me for some reason, I think the bigger they are the cooler they are. Not to say I wouldn't play with a tiny doll though those are cute too.

    8. I like SD size the most even if I don't own one at the moment. I think it's because they look more adult or something like this.

    9. I like both msd and sd, I love how fun msds can be and how grown up sds can be.

    10. Definitively MSD size ! I think they are the perfect size ( for me of course)

    11. To be honest I love them all. I have all different sizes and each is just a cute as the other. It still amazes me though how much detail/ expression there is packed into the tinnies

    12. I feel exactly the same.

    13. definitely sds

    14. my favorite is msd, it is easy to take every where, not too big neither too small. i can't hold the doll which is more than 70cm, it will be feel so tired.

    15. I like 70cm-72cm dolls and I think they're a perfect size for me because I'm big too :XD:

    16. I really like my 60cm doll. I love how big he is and I can handle him well.

    17. I have two boys that are about 55cm tall and they're absolutely PERFECT. I found early on that MSD size is just a smidge too short for me. I did get one mini a bit on the taller side and he's about 47cm, and I like him better than the true shorties, but overall I just wanted bigger dolls. However, when I got my 60-62cm dolls, they just felt so...bulky. It took some searching, but I knew I really wanted two of my boys to be shorter than them, and in the end it was totally worth it. 55cm is absolutely wonderful, they have the perfect weight to them to carry around, and their limbs aren't so long that they feel unwieldy or awkward.

    18. Tiny and slim MSD. I had SD's but they are so big and heavy to carry with me ;) And I love the MSD clothing but have to say that a SD is also amazing. Those shoes for girls and jeans..

    19. Absolutely the larger sizes, Iplehouse EID's, 65-70cm. I prefer realistic, adult dolls. The little ones or baby-ish looking ones just don't appeal to me.

    20. I love my YO-SDs because I can carry them around in my backpack. Love my tinies, because I can carry them in my purse. Love my MSD girl because she's just right size to sit by my PC monitor here at home; her face is just at the same height as my eyes so she's always in my sight. I wonder what for am I going to love my SD girl which (hopefully) arrives soon? Maybe she's just right to lie in the sofa with me when I'm with my notebook? :) I'm soooo looking forward to feel her weight, too. I imagine she weights like a small (live) cat...
