What is your favorite doll size and why

Jan 14, 2010

    1. I like the SD size. Cause all the doll i want is in thi size (X_x) But some msd was cool too.

    2. I like msd most, cz they're not too big for me ><

    3. I love SD-sized dolls, they're not impossibly big and don't look too mature compared to the 70cm+ ones, so I guess the dolls I purchase in the future would be around this height? Maybe one or two 70cm ones, but I'll definitely buy SD and below more than I would the bigger dolls. The SD ones just have that element of cute-yet-adult aspect to them, and I think they fit that height just right.

    4. I prefer SD sized dolls. They are not too big but still big enough that clothes are easier to sew than smaller ones.

    5. SD size dolls are just about perfect. They're big enough to comfortably sew for, but not so huge that they become unmanageable. Though it might be nice to own some MSDs someday too...

    6. My favorite size is 60cm which most of my girls are around that size. However, I've recently gotten a 42cm size doll and she is adorable! I love how much lighter she is and how easy to care around! :XD:

    7. MSD is my favorite size! I think SD might be a little bit too big for me. I was surprised about the size of the MSD, I thought they might of even been a little bit tinnier for some reason. I'm more familiar with inches rather than centimeters, and even though I know some metric pretty well, it doesn't always translate in my mind.

But I will probably continue to get MSD and smaller. I like working with smaller dolls. Though someday I plan on getting at least one SD sized doll.

    8. I prefer my 70 cm doll to take around with me, he goes a lot of places he just seems to fit with me better on the go than my others. Which is kind of curious because I myself am on 5 foot 2 inches. But I enjoy dolls of all sizes.

    9. I only have one doll, an MSD but I am very drawn towards SDs. With a bigger doll, their sculpts are so detailed and they look more adult like. I am currently saving up for an SD boy!

    10. When I got in the hobby I could only think about SD dolls. But in time... I got YoSD and then even MSD (which I actually didn't even think about in past!). So now I am "multi-fandom" haha. I love all the sizes in the end :3nodding:

    11. I own from msd up to 80cm and I love them equally. Each has their own perks and flaws. It's more comfortable to carry an msd around, but for me it's easier to sew for the bigger ones. It evens out~

    12. msd's ^^ <3 i'm glad that i can carry them to meets :) they fit in bags ect... but if lillycat makes new 60cm or larger bjd's i will definitely buy one

    13. I like the dolls 60-70 cm, because this size facilitates customization.

    14. At first I have been interesed in 70+ sised dolls. Right now I have a Yosd and think, what my perfect sise would be MSD's and YoSD's. I have enough storage space only for dolls what are smaller than 50 cm. What is more, this sises are more comfortable to craft for and take pictures of. :)

    15. I never want a life size or real scale bjd but I do love the big bjds. I practically only own sd dolls and up. I have gave away some of my tiny scale dolls simply because they are not for me. Although I think I might get Lati yellow dolls later. I love SD SIZE dolls and half scale dolls. BIG dolls for me! :)

    16. MSD for the win ! I love all sorts of sizes, but MSD is definitely my favourite. More fun to face-up, great to make wigs for (not too small so it's not too hard, not too big so it doesn't take too much time), easy to manipulate, quite easy to carry, they have presence without taking too much space...

    17. Msd and smaller <3. I could never decide on one size, though most of my characters are short so an sd wouldnt fit them. I have a big scary character that id love to shell into an sd. Basically I need at least one of each size.

I just got a tiny and an even tinier tiny and i think they'll be so much easier to carry around than my msd. One of them is a mutated plant, and the other is a scorpion so having them sd size would be pretty scary.

    18. I prefer SD and bigger. I started out with MSD, but it never worked out for me, and I like the sculpting of SD's more, generally. Both bodies and faces. I don't think I'll go up to 80 cm but.. well.. I never thought I'd go up to 70 either, and yet here I am, haha.

    19. I like Sd sculpts, but I prefer msd sized dolls.

    20. I prefer MSD size. They fit on display well enough and are big enough to put clothes on and accessories and things of the like, but they aren't too big. i'm aso 4'7" so they'r more appropriate for someone my height lol.
